Weather forecast looked poor for today but it's a glorious morning. Feels very summery thankfully.

Today's the last iffy day. Back to summer early next week. Might cool down again next weekend, but forecast is dry followed by dry.

Has there ever been a Wimbledon which hasn't been disrupted by rain? Asking for a friend...

Enough of this South East hot (weather) willy waving biggrin is west tartan land going to get in on some of this? it's 12 degrees up here, the temperature has literally halved, I just had to stick the heating on in the office for an hour to make it bearable...with a jumper on...even for here is a bit chilly for June...me and the wood burner had a staring competition last night, eventually I told him where to go because it was June.

You've had summer already, haven't you? Recently the weather was better in NW Scotland than London irked

High Pressure going to be taking control for foreseeable future. Everyone should benefit. Currently the high pressure is ridging in only to the South smile

Yeah, I got used to 22-25 and sunny for about a month, 12 and drizzle, or a Scottish summer day as it's known, has come as a bit of a shock. eekbiggrin

Got a trip to Cornwall for 4 days this weekend and then a 6 day rowing trip on the Thames starting next thursday.

Other than temps in Cornwall not being quite 'hot' (but still sunny) the long range weather forecast is looking almost too good....bounce

Low 30s in the SE next week.

The jet stream is heading up north again, large area of low pressure likely to sit slap bang over UK. Hotter than places like Turkey hehe

You mean high pressure, right?

This year has been bloody brilliant. And for once the NW seems to have been one of the better places to be too.

Any decent amount of rain looking likely in SW? Had hardly anything now for weeks. Fed up with watering the garden every night plus I'm on a water meter!

Didn't you see my Wimbledon post yesterday? wink

The SW will probably see occasional thunder storms dragged up from low pressure systems over Iberia.
