Amazing lightening storm tonight.... lasted well over an hour. Very flashy... no thunder claps which was a bit weird.

Netweather is showing something brewing in the channel that might just hit the very far east of Kent shortly.

Possibly.

Maybe.

Well there was a biblical rainfall this evening so much so we had 4" of water in the house, reckon it came up to about a 12" around the front door, will post pics tomorrow but we are devastated, all floors and furniture ruined!

Yeah really, assessing the damage today but we have been classed as uninhabitable owing to the amount of water that got in and living in a bungalow we don't have a top floor we can inhabit to avoid all the damp and st that flowed in!

Nothing formally expected but...

It feels like it could kick off again. Lots of cloud bubbling up.

NW6 been a lovely muggy day. Starting to cloud over a bit and continuous thunder for the last 20 minutes or so, literally without a break. Light rain and no visible lightning.

I'm in the UB6 region and can hear it, no rain, some cloud but sun's out and a constant low rumble which as I type is getting ever closer

CO9 - must have had a rumble of thunder that lasted over 15 continuous minutes around 4pm this afternoon. Then the heavens opened. No lightning though frown

Really, really humid now - the wood out the back of my house looks like a rainforest with moisture hanging in the air!

I'm up near Colchester and we've had nothing, no thunder and not even a hint of drizzle.

Agree with the humidity though, very muggy and uncomfortable.

Pugs, it's been bloody muggy in West Berks. Nice enough day though. Lots of lighting last night but no thunder or rain. Was due to have some this afternoon, but it's turned into really quite a nice evening.

All very weird and unique in my lifetime for a Londoner. To have one night with constant electrical activity and lightning with little to no thunder, then a couple of days later, the opposite with constant thunder and no lightning!

Bloody lovely in Puglia (sounds like I've gone home!).

28 degrees but none of that humidity rubbish.

Kent, Sussex, Essex and London move back in firing line tomorrow. Nothing too major.

Anywhere South of M62 could see a storm.

We got that, just up the road in East Sheen. We were having dinner in a local pub, those eating outside got soaked by the sudden deluge..

Mustn't laugh.......
