One thunderstorm overnight on Saturday in the south hams, Devon. The rest of the weekend has been sunshine and very warm.

Had a nice hot sunny day, but had 15 mins or so of very heavy rain which caused some minor flooding, burst a pipe and pushed a bit of road up in a few places... Police and everything!

Apparently the house behind mine has just been struck by lightning. Hoping all my electrical stuff still works when I get home!

I'm just up the road not far from Rochester airport.

On our local FB page people are saying the hailstones have put holes in their conservatory roofs. Hoping the car roof is ok frown

Currently (ahem....) working at Medway hospital, the storm was pretty much constant for the last 2 hours. Pity I only have an internal wall to look at out of my window!!
There were some very big and close strikes.
Allegedly, the local trains have been knocked out......

West Hampstead getting a right proper soaking now, with the odd bout of lightning and thunder.

Kent, Sussex, Essex and London move back in firing line tomorrow. Nothing too major.

Anywhere South of M62 could see a storm.
Lots and lots of thunder here in Chingford, NE London. Sudden downpours of biblical proportions and then.............nothing.

Spooky.

More of a vanilla storm here in Richmond, starting to develop some decent thunder now. Not much rain though just steady precipitation

Storm in Aylesbury now. Just how a loud crack of thunder. Much less frequent than the last 2 storms.

East Midlands.

As usual. It's fking grey.

Forecast had 90% chance of thunderstorms on sunday and strong chance on Monday. Instead it was baking hot. We were BBQ'ing it up last night with Pinacolada's and had the hottest/stickiest nights sleep yet.

Today is colder with a light mist in the air but that is it. Just grey. No impressive shower or amazing lightning.

Need to move somewhere else, we never get anything interesting this way. It barely even snowed this year, yet the rest of the country seemed to be buried.

Not even had a good breeze yet this year.
