Wobble down again. A far more palatable high 20s looking likely next week.

Today will probably be the hottest day of the year so far.

Until tomorrow!

It’s brilliant, isn’t it. I can’t recall a better spring-summer in my life (I’m 50).

Here’s hoping that this is going to keep like this for summer too.

For balance...

Hate it, too blimmin hot.

Bring back the mid teens to low twenties temperature wise (and a bit of nip in the evenings), an equal number of cloudy days and the occassional rainy day. That would be perfect.

All this day after day scorchio nonsense and not being able to sleep just isn't right.

I'm stuck in a data centre in West London today. Blessing and a curse.

The cool aisles between the servers are lovely, but I can't see the blue sky!

It is, it’s 27C with only a 3kt variable wind so will feel warm.

I'm WFH today so my lunchbreak has been spent on a sunlounger - hells teeth it's warm. Couldn't actually take it any more.

Great!

Very dry though. Was comfortable in our attic rooms last night with a temp of 28. Normally we move the kids downstairs when their rooms are that hot. Humidity much lower than for normal heatwaves .

At which point we were pointing out that the cold and snow had been relentless since November! Has weather gone binary?

Absolutely. I remember winter being SO long and miserable. Then someone flipped the switch and the exact opposite
