My butts need filling!

I'll take one low pressure system and then a return to warmth. What I won't countenance is a conveyor belt of lows hehe

Waiting to see what the next chapter brings at the moment. Too far ahead to see.

Hawarden in North Wales records 30.2 - wonder what the odds on North Wales being hottest place are hehe

Reason is the position of the high is bringing winds across much of England and Wales before they reach there. SE is seeing more of an easterly with a hint of north in it.

We could do with a good downpour, as long as it's a weekday and a return to this flippin glorious weather for the weekend.

I could well believe that it was showing 30 in the workshop today just outside of Cardiff, meant to be even hotter tomorrow.

Horrible on the East Yorks coast yesterday. 11.5*C, fog but with a brisk easterly - didn`t shift all day.

That cloud managed to get as far as Reading over night. Lovely cool night and morning. The cloud has pretty much burned off, but does mean a much cooler start (and so a less hot end) to the day thumbup

If whoever took the Sun could just go ahead and put it back...that'd be great. Thanks.

Last night was pretty grim - windows front and back of the house wide open to get air moving (it didn't) - it was as if the central heating was on full blast with no way of turning it off - that sort of heat that you get in a tent on your holidays that eventually forces you to get up in the morning. Great fires burning on the hills in the distance.

Yet over the hill in Yorkshire it was foggy and cool. All burned off now.

Unfortunately that's a pretty common occurence down south. Last night's slight easterly breeze was divine!

Sunday's low pressure getting watered down now. Will keep a watch on it.

High pressure continuing is the theme next week returns to 'normal' with the South getting the warmer weather - and likely more humidity. This heat has been very notable for lack of humidity (and far more comfortable as a result).

Butts might have to wait.
