I doubt they will tax it. The evidence is clear. If anything they should relax controls
They are losing tax revenue from fags every time someone vapes..I think they will find a reason to tax vaping just as heavily as fags.
And they will invent some kind of licensing system to make your own juice (or ban the practice)

I have to disagree with this. A few years ago I ordered a big selection from these based on a recommendation from here. Most were completely unvapeable and the others were unpleasant at best.
They did have problems a few years ago. Things are much better now. They've just gone through a big re-brand. I've been buying from there for about a year, buying a new flavour every time and each that I have tried has been fine.

difficult to buy nicotine now for home mixers.

Can get it dodigly on ebay but they banned all sale of nicotine in large quantities (50ml+). Managed to get some in the end but price has gone up with the restriction, Similar to price going up when they brought in TPD and everyone paying silly amounts for 3 x 10ml bottles.

So am I fwiw. However...

I don't see it as a panacea, don't believe it's as harmless as currently thought and think there will be controls brought in sooner than later.

It's still early days, both for health claims and for government to take an interest. They'll catch up though.

That’s the rub. People will easily make their own. If you look at the ingredients which are easy to buy and import legally, it’s a non starter(tax). The taxation premise was harm and incentive to quit. I’d like to see the politician who advocates it. They;d be run out of town wink and as a man of principle i’d Just make my own or buy from abroad . Or just stop. I think I could now

When I started vaping, people told me to start on 12mg or higher and the ween myself of it gradually until I was on zero over a fairly long period..

I went the other way. I thought why not start on 3mg and go stronger if needs be, and I never really went any higher. Sometimes I now buy shortfills and hardly put any nic in at all so I am pretty much vaping just for the lovely flavours and the feeling of 'smoking' at this point. I doubt I would have any withdrawal symptoms if I quit, but it's just about my only vice and everyone should have atleast one..

dxbtiger - sorry been away a few days - coil life tends to be shorter for high PG liquids, higher vaping power and some report using menthol based liquids.

Also not priming the coils properly and serial vaping which leads to dry cotton tends to burn out coils faster as well. On average though 1 to 2 weeks for a coil.

What does it look like when you change it? Mine are black. It’s ott but I change my coil every 3 days. As soon as I taste any difference. Ott I know but.....

Just bought a Uwell Nunchaku tank to replace a slightly knackered Baby Beast. Totally amazing. This is the best vaping has ever tasted. Recommended.

Coils are £10 for 4 (available in 0.25 and 0.4 ohm) and they're push-fit, so no more worries about cross-threading. I bought the bubble tank from eBay to get beyond the 2ml TPD capacity.

Burwood I tend to check the coils about once a week, they soot up pretty quickly but still get a good vape off them.

Do you have a silicone bung in the tank? I've got the full Nunchaku system and when you buy it the tank is actually 5ml but they put a big piece of silicone inside to reduce the capacity to 2ml. You can just pull it out, so with your bubble tank you'll be up to 7ml.

Gets my vote though, best device I've used

Don't put car keys in the same pocket as a naked battery. The keys will create a short circuit, the battery will go on fire in your pocket, you'll snatch the battery out of your pocket (more flames) the battery will roll across the garage floor under your low slung sports car - did I mention the flames?

I am alive.

My car is un-singed.

I am Mr Bean.

eek

Christ! Lucky escape there!!!

When these batteries go there's no stopping them, always best to get a case for them, even the small silicone battery condom's are better than a loose one in your pocket. I use the EVA style zip cases from Fogstar & Efest, around £4-6 each.

I'm pretty anal now with my batteries after a couple close calls when I first started but that was with mechs, had one Efest .......'35A' vent on me, very loud whooooooosh!!!! (Quickest I've seen the dog move off the couch!!!!!) and the other mech started to slowly auto fire on the table.. Picked it up and it was red hot, just got the atty off in time then slung the mod in the garden then binned them.

I've harped on about battery safety on here for ages but it's the most important side of vaping, forget he best juice/tank/mod to get, the one thing to get right mid understand is battery safety.

I have most definitely learned a lesson! It could have been a disaster - I have a nice scar on my leg and some trousers with a hole in. Fortunately the car didn't go up.

I hadn't really thought these batteries were volatile. D'uh!

Anyway, I want to post up about it just in case there's anyone else with spare batteries knocking around in their pockets.
