Few months ago i had no clue about vaping. I then started researching and was blown away.

The different mods, tanks, coils, vape styles, vg/pg, batteries, drip tips etc etc i have spent hours watching videos and reading forums

I have seen videos on rebuildable and god i am confused.

Rta , rda, sqaunker, dripper, build own coils ,have pre made coils, this cotton that cotton...this is the reason i dont have much confidence in diy.

If i was doing a rebuildable i would like a squanker as i wont need to keep topping up with e liquid...but what tank would be best? Rda rta rba raa ??
Try not to get too caught up in it. Basically you need a tank and a mod. Some spare coils and juice.
I went from this

To this. 4ml tank and mod taking two 18650 batteries

Two battery mod so you have lots of reserve of power if you are going out for the day. External charger and 4 batteries (keep them paired I put some electrical tape on one end to tell them apart) charge one set while using the other. I have never broken a tank so don't feel the need to have a spare, I have tanks I can use if it did happen though.

And you probably don't need as much juice as this..I have managed to avoid the temptation of buying any for the last few weeks though!

I haven't tried squonking yet, but I think you need a squonking tank for that so your choices would be a bit more limited, I 'think' that that all the squonk tanks are RDA or RDTA or whatever but i could be wrong. I always get a bigger glass for my tanks though for that reason. 2ml tanks would need filling too often for my style of vaping.

As far as coils go, you can start with a box of pre-made wire coils that have different types in so you can see if you notice any difference. You can get fifty coils for about £6 or something!

People all rave about the different cottons, i have tried a few of the most popular brands and they are all fine..
You've both kind of got the wrong end of the stick. If you want to squonk you get an RDA and that is that, practically all RDAs come with a changeable squonk pin so you can use them as a dripper or a squonk. There are far more RDA style than there are that you can buy coils for.

There is no glass or tank, the "tank" is contained in the mod and is the reservoir you squeeze in to the "tank" or RDA. You can buy ten pre-built coils for ~£6 (if you don't fancy building your own which is when it becomes really cheap, circa ten meters of wire for £8) and for cotton just go for cotton bacon prime, you will not be disappointed.

With regards to capacity, a squonk completely circumvents capacity problems as almost all are 6ml and above as the juice is stored separately from the coil. My mod has an 8ml capacity (I think) and i fill it 2-3 times a day. I use a Pulse Dual which has 2 18650 batteries and change them every other day roughly.

Which RDA? You cant go wrong with a Drop or Drop solo (dual or single coil). Really solid and I have both. Fair enough these are just my recommendations but they are both highly rated and I've tried a few. I currently use a Pulse V2 and it is bloody great as it feeds the juice from directly underneath the col and i never have dry hits. It is all down to personal preference and with each RDA being about ~£20 you can probably afford to try a few styles before you find something you like.

Do you know how accurate the wattage is?

I was checking anthony vapes website for the uwell and the wattage is really accurate but couldnt see a review with tests for the Sigelei.

Seems pretty good but also I'd say it's largely irrelevant (Within 1-2W) unless you're vaping at the very extremes of your batteries' capabilities.

Talking of cells, These are great https://www.fogstar.co.uk/collections/batteries/pr...

New tank (manta) appears to be dialed in nicely.

I've got one. It's big and heavy.

Its okay, no different from the other half a dozen battery mods that I have managed to break over the last few years. The paint however chips really easily and mine is a few weeks old and already looks battered. It does however seem to eek out the battery life a bit better than others,

I suppose any mod that takes two 18650 batteries is going to have a certain size and weight. I very rarely take a vape out of the house, so that is not really much of an issue.

Mind you I did purchase a little pack that I can wear on my belt. Whether I will actually use it I don't know.

Its that or have it fall over in a bag or pocket and leak.

I am well past worrying what other people think.

I see a lot of people with vapes and nobody with one of them, it looks like a solution looking for a problem.

I just put mine in an upright pocket, or hold it.

I have a smaller version that is actually a phone holder. Having seen videos of exploding batteries I prefer the idea of keeping it external. Plus due to what I wear it is hidden anyway.

I just read that San Francisco are about to ban e-cigs. Weed is ok, cigarettes no problem. What a bunch of idiots

It won't stop people using them.
