New to this thread, have been vaping about 4 years now, pretty much exclusively using a uwell crown (original) tank and a variety of mods that have slowly been trashed! My tank is a bit of a triggers broom but can no longer find the seal kit anywhere so I'm gutted I'm going to have to find something else. The TPD has come in since which means I need to find something I can fit a bubble glass to as 2ml is not going to cut it!
Any recommendations for god flavour, no leaks, reasonably priced coils (usually 0.25 SS) which last a while??!
Told my friend to go for the Crown v4 if he liked the V1 and he rates it just as highly and a bubble tank is available. (Original tank was plastic and cracked with one of the juices he used so worth getting a glass bubble ASAP) Any recommendations for god flavour, no leaks, reasonably priced coils (usually 0.25 SS) which last a while??!

Well thanks to this thread I have been reminded of fast tech, and thought I would browse for the Crown III tank which you can't usually get here as its a 5ml capacity. Ordered one plus 20 coils, free delivery and should be about 2 weeks according to their info!
There is a work around. A shop can't sell you a 5ml tank but they can sell you a 2ml tank and bubble glass.I didn't even know this thread existed until now!
Gave up the cigs a year ago, from 60 a day, and have spent a daft amount on box mods with OLED displays and the like - but somehow I always end up going back to my trusty Vaporesso Sky Solo as my daily.
Never changed the seals except when first bought it just as I gave up, and put on a bubble glass - and it does weeks without changing coils because I don't vape much flavour and rarely even bother with nicotine these days.
Anyone else happy with a cheap, basic vape? I enjoy it, mainly the habit of "smoking", and doubt I'll give it up - but it's not a hobby anymore, in the same way that smoking was never a "hobby".
Happily I am also a torch fanatic (the two seem to have quite a link), so have good use for all those 18650s sitting around the house, because my Solo only needs a micro USB lead to charge up. Pretty amazed that the battery has lasted this long, actually - I took apart another Vaporesso stick to "change" the battery, which I presumed would be a cheap, standard sized, lithium cell - but was actually a mess of badly wound foil and goop inside a bit of heatshrink tubing. So that one went in the bin given that I ended up taking a screwdriver and hammer to it to get the base cap out.
I have the bigger Sky solo plus as well, but it leaks out juice if you even look at it sideways, let alone place it anything but vertical, no matter what do to it. Maybe I'll treat my daily to a change of seals and a new glass for it's first anniversary!

I've been vaping for 8 years now so have seen the tech develop from simple cigalike devices up to the stupidly overpowered subohm mods. I tried subohm when it started to become a thing a few years back but couldn't see the point and couldn't get on with it. I've stuck with MTL vaping using a couple of 4ml joyetech cubis tanks on artery nugget mini mods plus a newer OBS cube with an MTL engine tank. Chaps advice. I been enjoying the Ucig range of shortfill XL 100ml. but they no longer stock 100ml.
Any recommendations with larger size liquid buying online?
And also with the crap with no menthol what's the alternative. One reason i kept from cigarettes is my enjoyment of the menthol and ice vape liquids. is it just the menthol and ice cold type liquids are still available
cheers

From that website is appears you can buy two 50ml bottles for the same price as one 100ml bottle, it actually appears cheaper to buy it that wayAny recommendations with larger size liquid buying online?
"All 62 flavours are still available in the 50ml Shortfill Premium range, priced at £5 per bottle, and two of these are equal to one bottle of XL. This means 100ml of e-liquid can be purchased for only £10 – a saving of £2".

You should still be able to buy menthol and ice cold type liquids, its only Menthol cigs that have been banned.

Can anyone recommend me a good sub-ohm 510 tank?
I've been using Freemax which has served me well (no leaks at all!) however the last 3 batch of coils I've got gave dry hits.
Not sure if this makes a difference but I'm vaping nicotine salt eliquids.
Sub Ohm and Nic Salts? Are you sure you're getting dry hits, I thought Nic Salts were stronger so you don't need to use sub ohmI've been using Freemax which has served me well (no leaks at all!) however the last 3 batch of coils I've got gave dry hits.

Is it not recommended to use nic salt eliquid on sub ohm?Always been on sub ohm as I prefer the more intense experience which is closer to real fag.
Tried nic salts as found a decent brand on Totally Wicked. It's mostly ok but recent batches of coils are either burning out too quickly or dry hits on every hit,
Part of me is tempted to go back to basics as the newer pod vapes looks pretty decent.

I'm 99% sure Nic Salts are much stronger and designed not to be used sub ohm, I suspect you aren't getting dry hits it's just ripping your throat out as it's far too strongAlways been on sub ohm as I prefer the more intense experience which is closer to real fag.

What strength are the nic salts?

You can get 3mg nic salts which are way smoother than 3mg normal They're usually used at higher nicotine amounts to give less throat hit but higher nicotine impact
from experience 18mg nic salts feel like 9mg normal
I use roughly 9mg nic salts and I can barely tell it's there on MTL
More likely, the coils are just junk. They churn them out by the tens of thousands and it's not unheard of to get a janky set
I can only recommend moving to rebuildable tanks. They don't leak like they used to and you can buy very good coils that just need rewicking every couple of days/weeks depending on use
GrimmGreen is the channel I used to get most of my reviews from as he's honest (Will slate something that doesn't work)
