Its arrived!

Tank : Certainly premium quality feel to it. Getting used to the smaller capacity. Would've hoped it came with spare coils but no biggie. What coils do you guys recommend? Came with bamboo fibre mesh coil @ 0.30Ohms.

Mod : Love it! It's smaller and lighter compared to my Aegis and feature packed. Just need to be careful not to drop it wink

Noticed I can also update the software which is cool.

P/S: How do I turn it off? Can't find anything in the manual lol

It should come with two coils and extra grommets, have a look in the bottom of the plastic case it comes in.

Sorry thought you were aware that any tank you buy in the UK will be limited to a juice capacity of 2ml which is rubbish, thats why I order my stuff from Fasttech. Ironically you can buy seperate bubble glass and fit that and I would suggest you do that.

Glass alone
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10054522/96959...

with grommets
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10043845/96927...

ON / OFF is five presses of the fire button

I use the M1 coils and just order from Amazon

If you look at the Drag X that I am thinking of getting, if I order from Fasttech it comes with a 4.5ml tank. If I order it from a UK shop it will come with a 2ml tank but then they will sell me the 4.5ml tank. Its completely stupid.

Its the same thing with juice. You can only buy a 10ml bottle of juice if it contains nicotine. But you can buy 100ml of juice and add nicotine that you buy seperately. moronic rules.

Cheers buddy. Yes the Voo Poo tank does come with spare coils but I am using the Falcon ones.

I am sort of ok with the smaller tank for now. Just need to be careful with refilling. I’ve always upgraded the glass in the past but suspect that made it leak due to compatibility issues.

Loving the setup so far, at least not getting the constant dry hits/burnt taste/leaks anymore smile

Agreed, it’s indeed a bit of a silly law. I would like to order the bigger bottle of juice but all of them comes with nic shots and I can’t be bothered. Perhaps I don’t trust myself lol.

I assume you mean you bought a Voopoo tank and mod together and swapped the tank for the Horizon. But the Falcon tank usually comes with spares, usually an extra coil, glass and grommets. This is what came with my last two Falcon tanks (I used the coils)

My falcon tank only came with spare grommets. Not big issue as I’ve ordered some. It’s cheaper than the SMOK coils so that’s a win smile

Also noticed a cool feature in the coil where it indicates minimum eliquid level. Minor details but really loving it.

Glad you are happy with it, but I would suggest getting the bubble glass or you will be constantly topping it up as the coils drink juice. Its a quality tank and had no problems swapping the glass, the grommets really give a good seal so you will not have any leaking problems. The only leaks I have found with tanks I have had in the past if if they have been put on their side, always keep the talks vertical and it will be fine.

Yep keep the juice above the cotton holes so the wicking material does not dry out.

Quick question if you'll oblige.

I'm using an 80W Uwell Nunchaku with a CL tank and though
Nic salt liquid doesn't make me bark like a sea lion, I'm still after a
smoother vape.
Are ceramic coils any good or should I be trying Ni or S/S?

Thanks.

Being impressed with Voopoo mods I looked at single 18650 battery mods for out and about use and found the X. I always check out the reviews on Youtube and found that Matt from Suck My Mod reviewed it a year ago.
I really like the look of the mod and the pod system

Yeah they’re pretty good, I bought the Drag S no complains with the mod. The RBA tank is next to useless though so just use h the PnP tanks, 5/6 pulls and it’s refill time. PnP coils are decent though, 0.3ohm gives great flavour and I use the 0.8 mesh coils out and about.
Cheers, I just ordered the Drag x, two extra pods and five 0.3ohm coils.

Ok I’m convinced wink The extra small tank gets refilled every few puffs so I’ve ordered bigger tank from Amazon : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Horizon-Falcon-Gl...

The other point is the Tobacco Product Directive (TPD) 2ml tank they provided probably is not glass which means it can be prone to cracking, the glass is so much better.

Oh didn't pick up on that. It looks ok but kind of annoying trying to refill it multiple times a day smile
Fingers crossed I don't mess up the tank this time. Really love the spring loaded action opening the cover lol.

New coils and tank arrived today. Swapped the glass over (kept the original seals) and so far so good. No leaks and most importantly burnt taste and dry hits.

Thanks again for the recommendations Cotty smile

I switched to vaping on November 26th of last year. Started with a Smok 22, and I've never seen fit to change it. Onto my 3rd coil now, have smashed the glass once, but other than that I can't fault it at all. A full charge lasts easily a full day.
