I've completely come off the cigarettes now and I'm on the lowest nicotine level you can get but I've got into vaping a bit too much hehe

I got myself an RDA yesterday (Dead Rabbit sq) for use when I'm not in the car, and I'm using a Cleito Exo when out and about as I've ended up with 2 iJoy Genies somehow... whistle

Both my Aspire boxes are on their way out with the Zelos completely buggered, so it's time for a new box as the Pegasus has survived very well and been incredibly reliable but is very heavy.

Has anyone any experience of Vaporesso stuff? I like the look of the new Armour Pro which looks like it will fulfill my needs, looked at Smok but have heard some bad things about build quality and definitely want something with removable batteries.

Anything else I should look at for 60ish quid? Don't do the clouds thing and use a nautilus X tank, want build quality and safety features and something that doesn't look like a perfume bottle.

Smoant are normally good solid mods

Excellent RDA, got loads here now and it’s still by go to atty but use it mainly for squonking

Try some Brochrome (Flat Ni80) in it, really nice.

I wouldn’t touch SMOK, the Voopoo Drag is meant to be a good solid mod, shady business practices but their Drag is good. Probably around £50ish

Sigelei tend to put decent stuff out but their wattage claims are off. My Fuchai 213 is still going well same as the Pioneer4you IPV6X.

I’m sure Aspire have a new mod coming out? Kanger used to be good and put out regular stuff but haven’t heard much of them in ages.

I like Sigelei and also have a Fuchai 213 and still going strong. Little on the heavy side but then it does take two 18650 batteries.

Other than the fact mine is now 100% bare metal (I may have helped the last 30% of the covering) this mod has been a beast. Daily carry for two years and no issues at all!! Same two 26650 batteries in circulation as well, amazing reliability

I'm loving it much more than any of my tanks so far (Cleito original, Cleito Exo and a TFV8 Big Baby) you get so much more flavour out of it than anything I've used before and it's easy to build on for a noob like me. Going to definitely look into squonking next as it came with a squonk pin so it'd be rude not to wink

Thanks for the recommendation too, I have one spare coil so after I've used up these two I'll look into different coil options etc.

Just gone for a Mamba RTA, as the Smok coils for the TFV12 tank don’t get on with me, averaging 2-3 days per coil!

Love the RTA, no idea what I’m doing luckily the guys at my local shop are brilliant. Best choice I’ve made since quitting smoking, much better flavour and seems to be much longer lasting, although it’s not quite been a week yet.

Making your own seemed like a dark art until you start doing it

Now I have a preferred wire and can knock out coils to bang on 0.5 everytime (ok maybe 4.9 or 4.8 but close enough)

I make a batch of 5-10 up and do a new one each Sunday, it only takes 10 mins. If I'm busy or forget and the taste is going then a rewick will easily see another week.

I think I'm fussy though, some people keep em for a month or so. With wire at £5 ish a spool and Cotton Bacon the same for a pack I reckon I'm still only spending £10 a quarter, if that.

I re-wick my dual fused claptons up to ten times!! by the end I'm doing it every 4-5 days though and one set of coils takes 15-20 minutes to make, if I was doing round wire, I'd just build new coils.

Haven't bought wire for well over a year - mainly using 26g & 34-40g Ni80 for the speedy ramp up. Really nice at 100W in the Recoil Rebel RDA

Big thanks to everyone contributing to this thread. Bought these 2 for less than £40 from Amazon.

Very pleased. Build quality of Fuschai (spelling?) is fantastic compared to smok and ijoy.

Question for knowledgeable folk;

Is there a tank that's top filling like baby beast that it's not leaking, like k3?

Thanks.

I've just got a uwell nunchuku tank and I've had zero leaks so far, it is also top fill and beats ANY tank I've ever used or tried for taste. The coils also seem to last forever, I highly recommend it smile

So my trusty Nautilus mini 2 has started to cause problems - the thread won't hold it in place so I am having to use PTFE tape to keep it in, but this isn't going to work forever.

Looking around at options, I can replace the base hardware for about £15 but that seems a lot for a metal disk, I can buy a whole tank for that.

Any recommendations for a replacement for a Nautilus mini?

I've tried (and binned) various Smok tank/mod/kits and the Uwell Nunchuku i'm currently using is fantastic. Also highly recommend.

I need to replace my mod.... it's old and battered and the LED's are now unreadable.

I am not an advanced sub-ohm vaper with a beanie... I vape at 12 watts, 1.8ohm and use 183650 batteries.

Any recommendations for a reliable single battery mod? Or should I replace my eleaf pico?
