Being impressed with Voopoo mods I looked at single 18650 battery mods for out and about use and found the X. I always check out the reviews on Youtube and found that Matt from Suck My Mod reviewed it a year ago.
I really like the look of the mod and the pod system

Yeah they’re pretty good, I bought the Drag S no complains with the mod. The RBA tank is next to useless though so just use h the PnP tanks, 5/6 pulls and it’s refill time. PnP coils are decent though, 0.3ohm gives great flavour and I use the 0.8 mesh coils out and about.
Cheers, I just ordered the Drag x, two extra pods and five 0.3ohm coils.

Bloody hell it only arrived today, nearly two months since I ordered it on 5th June. Worth it for the savings and non TPD compliant extra tanks, but don;t order if you are in a hurry.

Looking for advice on replacement for my Smok X Priv baby.

It's served my well for the around 3 yrs I've had it. I like the small form factor, so looking for something else that is compact.

I'm not that au fait with the world on vaping and the different makers etc. Advice gratefully received.

I just recently got a Innokin Proton Mini it's not as small as the Smok but it fits in the palm easily.
3400mah battery and does up to 120 watts.
It has a lot of features and the only thing missing I would say is USB-c charging but it's quite quick anyway. Charge to full takes just over and hour.

I pair mine with an Innokin Zenith tank on 1.6 coils as I do MTL vaping only.

Great integrated battery mod though so far.

Just reviving this thread and wondered if anyone’s still vaping?

I wasn’t a smoker until five/six years ago through various stressful situations. Other half bought me a Caliburn G2 and converted me. He’s a pro Vaper with a huge collection of mods, squonkers, other stuff I don’t understand and is far too technical to get my head around. Progressed to a Lost Ursa Nano and a few weeks ago a newly released Carbon Fibre Argus VooPoo. Love this little thing with it’s digital display, adjustable wattage, puff counter, timer and battery life info.

Only issue I have is with the flavours. I’ve been through a lot to find something I like. Can’t stand the sweet sweet/fruit type. Have been buying 10mg Nic Salts in dessert/bake flavours. Like a Butter Cookie, Maple Syrup, Cream Tobacco, odd coffee/late. Using Flawless Vapes as their next day delivery is great plus accumulate points and £5 voucher rewards.

An email from Flawless the other day with notification of the Holy Cow Milkshakes. Ordered a Strawberry and a Peanut Butter. OMG the Peanut Butter is like a melted Snickers Bar. Without the carbs or calories which is great for me.

Any other recommendations welcome.

I've been vaping for about 7 or 8 years. I settled on this genesis type one (I think that's what it is). I've been through 3 Wisbech's in that time and 2 top bits. It leaks if it's not stood up and it's bit weighty.
However I went through quite a few prior and this one is simple and works. And very easy to re-wick.
Rejoiced is the liquid company I've used for at least 5 years and strawberry jam is pretty much all I order. Sometimes I might get banna milkshake or strawberry milkshake but I find they can be harsh and gum up the cotton and coils very quickly.

Been vaping a few years. Got so fed up with the maintenance of them, replacing coils etc. Got annoyed if I ran out of juice or having to carry some around. Got fed up carrying spare batteries too.

Thus I’m currently trialling the disposable vapes. Don’t need the huge plume of “smoke” wafting from the car.

I’m loving the disposable vapes. Using Geek Bar but will try others. I’ve a few boxes scattered around including in the car.

No messing with juices or batteries. No leakages. Minimal size and can easily put a couple in my pocket if I’m out all day/night.

I’m thinking of trying the Juul next. Maybe the voopoo one too. Yes, the costs are higher but I don’t mind paying a little extra for the simplification.

I think the customizable guff is more a lifestyle choice/cool thing rather than a practical solution (just look at the shaving thread, I mean really? Just buy a Bic razor!)

I have a couple of Smok Nico's and I use tobacco flavour from the UK.

Ecigs/vapes are illegal here (Cambodia) and the juice is so sweet and crappy. Cannot get tobacco flavour whatsoever.

Plus it doesn't help that a pack of fags is under 50p, plus you give the shop three empty packs and they give you a pack free!
Which is why I keep all my empties!

I've also ended up here, using Elfbar, so simple

When I was faffing I had a couple of instances of batteries or coils dying when I was away from home and I'd end up back on the fags, as you say I carry a spare disposable one with me now, when one dies I'm onto the next

I have used both Geek and Elf bars but hated the waste. All that plastic and batteries just disposed of. I still don’t like throwing a coil or pod away now. Elf are apparently bringing out a re-usable. Not sure if they have pre-filled pods or how it’ll work though.
I don't disagree and it does cause me to pause, I currently have a load of them in a pot while I see if there is any to recycle, the trouble is on a personal level these are the most successful to date on keeping me off the fags, even with things like Vuse I get battery fear, it needs charging so have to carry a lead etc

The positive it’s keeping you from the fags. I’ve had the odd one around once a month. Most recent a couple of weeks ago when I had to make a stressful phone call and the person on the other end was smoking and the sound of them inhaling/exhaling made me crave. It took four days before I gave in and in all honesty didn’t finish it or particularly enjoy it so hopefully that’s the very last.

Carrying two vapes helps for me. Go to ones are the Argus and the Lost at the moment. I can go all day without though and am learning not to fret if the battery dies or coil burns out.

I'm 5 years now, no slips. Moved to nicotine free juice after about 3 months, and after about a year the craving had completely disappeared. I enjoy a vape a couple of times a week now, no anxiety.

Addictive stuff, nicotine.

Same applies to masks and covid tests. None can be recycled. Hopefully soon there will be recycling versions soon enough v

True but I’ve chosen to vape. The waste of electronics is what bothers me most I think. Work dictates my mask wearing and regular testing.

I completely understand. It’s a major issue that the disposables are not recyclable. But apart from that, it’s far more convenient.

Are the bottles that the juices/nicotine are supplied in recyclable? The ones I had weren’t.

10 years vaping, probably 8 entirely cigarette free. Been through various cloud devices, flavours and the like but settled on Aspire Nautilus mouth to lung and menthol liquid.

I do have a few disposables for occasions where they are just more convenient.

Lol. Yes, that can be off-putting.
I had a similar experience on a Zoom call to Australia. The guy actually asked if it was ok to smoke, which I thought was odd. He chained smoked the entire meeting, a good 45 minutes, and they were some black market Chinese brand, $15 AUD which is pretty cheap as a pack of Marlboro is around ($47 AUD) £26!

Event the thought of that is almost breaking me! I started with tailor mades at around age 44 when my eldest was hosting nightclubs and everything was free… then moved to roll ups with menthol filters until last year. This year I’ve maybe had half a dozen in total a mix of both but mainly tailor mades. There’s now a shop locally selling branded cigarettes at £4.50 a pack! I’ve not been tempted to invest in any though.
