As previously mentioned, I treat my wife with enough love and respect not to embarrass her by parking in a disabled parking bay just to clean up a little bit of bird crap.
I know a ‘gentleman’ like you, he came out with stuff like this, thought he was the perfect husband and knew what his wife wanted. Turned out her needs were being ignored, she felt trapped and bored and was shagging everything behind his back. He never saw it coming!!

Simply parking until someone needs the space is appropriate here. Unless you truly fking hate your wife and care nothing for her unfortunate predicament. You seriously think a woman (anyone) would feel less embarrassed sat in st than temporarily stopping in the only available space? You’re the biggest dhead on this thread and your good lady can, and probably will, do better. rolleyes

People with inconspicuous cars should behave conspicuously.

You give us porsche drivers a bad name.

I'm sure there was somewhere else to park.

And even without the retaliation your actions were dickish at best.

I cant stand people who park in disabled spaces when they shouldnt. If you remain with the car then its far better to stop somewhere at the side and move it if you need to. It was only a bit of bird poo.

Outrage? No im fine love, but say what you like if it makes you feel a little better.
Why inconvenience, at the very worst, one person for a minute or so when you could inconvenience every single car that needs to pass? I'm guessing, because you can wink

I despise people that park in disabled spaces without a second thought of the people that actually need them, but only the perpetually angry and confused would confuse that with what the OP did.

I'm calling bks on that as you alluded to the fact something would happen when they started the engine.
Not sure where you got that 'fact' from ... please be kind enough to quote

You've deleted the comment now so I can't quote it as you well know.

It was along the lines 'Let's just say she'll have had a surprise when she started her engine!' which clearly alludes to something exhaust related rather than placing them carefully on the windscreen.

I just think you're a massive bullstter. You're probably not 72, you already said you lied about being a surgeon and your wife is blonde yet elderly? Nothing stacks up other than you consistently being a selfish child.
Interesting.

How do you and the OP get through life if you have to make such a song and dance about a minor mishap? Two people to clean a bit of bird st out of hair? “Going mental”? “Sitting in st”? “Hot day” (that’s a classic)?
Do you have the Samaritans on speed-dial just in case your Hobnob falls into your tea? Get a grip snowflake!

After all the above you've described, the obnoxious twunt then decided it was appropriate to come on here laughing about it, inviting us to applaud him and guess how he got his juvenile revenge on the old lady.
I don't know about anyone else, but that's the but that particularly annoys me.
Well at least the thread wasn't filled with self-entitled sorts thinking he was in the right, so there's shope for the world!

Indeed. I suspect the OP didn't mean to reinforce the stereotype that Porsche drivers are entitled knobs, but that would seem to be the lesson the disabled old lady got.
And most in this thread too. biggrin

Most carparks that I have used have somewhere you could stop in an "emergency" like this that wont inconvenience anyone, including passing traffic. People park there cars for a few hours so the chances of 1 of them coming back would be slim, but if they did you just roll forwards a bit.

Even if he was the biggest dhead on here before, you claimed that that award by a considerable distance with that post. Congrats!

An immediate family member of mine is registered disabled and has a blue badge, but we wouldn't think of just ranting at a person stopped in a disabled space without checking why first , and even then we would ask them politely to move. It would be pretty obvious for anyone to see two people in a convertible with one of them cleaning something out of the other's hair that they weren't just parked up and about to walk off. Frankly the old biddy behaved badly from the off and set the tone of the subsequent interactions, and judging by the later snarky comments about putting up the roof and it wouldn't happen, sounds just jealous. I wouldn't stick wet-wipes in her orifices but she really created the situation by her own doing.

compulsory PH disclaimer - assuming the OP has not just made it all up , this is a personal opinion, no tractors were harmed.

OP, your post title may be wrong, "A lesson learnt for an angry old lady"

How do you know she learnt a lesson? Maybe she just shared the view of many on this thread that you were selfish and behaved inappropriately?

Aw, bless. Are you getting sad because everyone is still slagging off your beloved for parking in the disabled space? rofl

I showed my wife the initial post and asked her what she thought. The answer was “Christ, if I was the bloke’s poor wife, I would’ve been trying to crawl into the glovebox so that nobody saw me with him”.

Better yet, why not take that minute to drive to somewhere where you wouldn’t be inconveniencing anyone? It’s a little bit of bird crap, for God’s sake, But the OP and his few supporters are acting as though it’s a Russian bio-weapon!!!
