If I’m in an elevator thats plummeting and going to hit the floor at 80mph but just before it hits the ground I jump upward at 80mph, what speed do I hit the floor at please ?
The force required to accelerate you that fast is roughly the same force as you'd experience from crashing into the floor. Either way you're fked.
... and you'd bang your head on the ceiling of the lift

From one of the Jimmy threads,

Why are some colours of some cats not available in some countries? I get things like engines or transmissions that would affect emmisions or different aerodynamic options, but some things are strange. The colour surely would affect type approval!
Sorry, autocorrect and tiredness mean Jimny came out as Jimmy and car as cat.

There's a Jimny thread in reader's cars where its mentioned that a colour on a demo car wasn't available on uk bound production cars and other colours were not available in Aus.

Marketing. Companies will decide what colours are likely to appeal to local appetites.

A sand coloured HiLux is unlikely to be popular in the UK, but would sell well to ISIS wink

So 3 contenders on The Chase win £25,000 between them

8k each leaves a grand, so £333.33 each.

What happens to the penny left over. Silly question but who knows, someone may know it.

Best bet, if you have time, is to lie on your back, put whatever soft and padded you have under your head as a pillow, try and reduce the deceleration your brain sees.

Fail enough if the manufacturer had to paint all the cars, but I never understood if you're ordering a car to be built why you can't have whatever colour you want. I guess trying to work out the thought process of OEMs is where madness lies.

Because reducing possible combinations saves cost and helps ordering on spec.

And who to blame for betraying us all (regardless of outcome).

They could go back to talking about the Deficit/public services, etc, but post-Indyref Scotland doesn't provide much hope.

I'd expect so. Maybe not an easily measurable amount, but your metabolism is going to have to work harder to keep you at 37 degrees if you aren't wearing much insulation.

No idea.

Ask about wearing fewer clothes and maybe you'll be enlightened.
