5 minutes waiting Dibble, we need some gore!!! Well Bomma I reckon we can work out a deal with yourselves, I feel with the right marketing, the use of social media, flooding the internet and TV advertising, we could be talking, oh I don't know, a hatchimal per signed design!!!!!

Subject to contract, restrictions apply, one one per household, demand may outstrip supply, terms and conditions apply, GrandBomma productions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robbopops trading incorporated.
It’s not gore, but the YouTube link should be working?
A representative and spokesman from Robbopops Trading Incorporated, in association with GrandBomma Productions and DickyC SLK Spares Supplies International would like to make it quite clear that none of the aforesaid organisations are in any way connected with any scenes of gore and giblets portrayed in any linked visual format on this thread.
Unless there's money/ beer/ whisky or pork scratchings on offer, in which case we may be named as beneficiaries.

Please carry on...

One and a half hours coop? Luxury. I trust you have the tent, astroturf and primus stove all in place in the living room for the full effect?

It is indeed Dibble, those are 6/7 axis next generation machines, the bed on the m/c making the head in aluminium is 3 axis on a rotating gimbal which means it can machine a perfect sphere just like turning it on a lathe!!!! We don't have any 6 axis gimbal bed machines grumpy but notice how the machining head with the tool in moves in 3 axis too, there are machines available with the tool head on a ball axis which quite literally means you can machine in every direction so long as you have enough clearance!!!!!
Just tried to copy a link off YouTube but being a bit thick, sausage fingered and tech useless I can't, search cnc sphere machining and the type of machine should come up!!
Anyway enough of that, how did it feel turning those screws? Was there any pain? I think that is the start of the journey towards healing my friend!!!

Morning all. A decent amount of sleep here too, Lovely GF has just collected The Idiot (photo below for reference - Idiot, not GF) for a walk.

The screw turninghasnt hurt - so far... I’m told it might do as the end of the bone pushing forwards goes through my leg, as well as the pins doing what is known as “cheesing” through my leg (imagine a cheese wire, cutting through cheese and well, you get the idea). The pin sites at the top of my femur are the most uncomfortable bit so far, because if I sit up, it “stretches” the skin/muscle so there is a bit more pressure on one side of the holes.

All that said, so far I’d describe it more as “sore/uncomfortable” rather than actually painful. The down side is it is constant soreness and while it’s low level “pain” in the grand scheme of things, it’s always there, which is a little bit tedious if I’m honest. I’m going to try a trip out for a bit of shopping with Lovely GF later. That’s more to get out of the flat, rather than any actual need for groceries and there’s a half decent café at the shop as well, so we can have some Fika too.

The Idiot for reference and I’m going to search it some CNC stuff on YouTube. Kettle is boiled and cafetière loaded for when Lovely GF gets back so we can have a coffee.

And a sizeable Coops' bottle pyramid!

I am so enjoying the last few hours of LM24 coverage, that Rothman's Porsche / Chip Ganassi Ford dual was fab to watch. A bit naughty of Fred Mak at times, pushing Seb Bordais onto the dirty bits down the Mulsanne at 350kph was a bit dodgy in my view.

I loved Nicky Minassion Tom Kristensen's analysis of the race. Especially when the presenter asked him to indicate on the electronic map of the circuit any particular points where he had ever experienced a "moment". Nicky proceeded to draw a coloured line around the whole circuit! biggrin And then dryly commented "I'm not joking, either!" rofl

Good to see the TVR stickers are still P3 & P4 smile

A big thanks to Quest! thumbup 2hrs remaining! Can Toyota actually do it this time? They deserve it after all the past disappointments.

Idiot Dog looks peaceful and happy thinking about all that nice new bone you are growing, Dibs! wink

I have a nice joint of topside roasting in the oven. Just in case anybody calls round later. smile

I must correct myself about my earlier comment. It wasn't Nicky M, it was Tom Kristenssen.

Shows how much I know. paperbag

How can you mix up a Dane and a French bloke ?
Too much booze,not enough sleep.
I watched all I could on Quest.
Toyota have committed to next year and beyond with new regs ,hopefully someone will turn up next year with meaningful competition in LMP1.

2019 plans to visit start here.
Or not.
Indecision.

It certainly has the makings of a collection by the sound of it.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a new topic - 'The under £200 perfume bottle thread'... hehe

Glad you mentioned that Peri, me and cooped are determined to make the pilgrimage. Hopefully it'll turn into a full blown assault by the TT collective? We must live in hope.
