Tell us Something Really Trivial about your Life (VOL 30)
Discussion
Sunderland status update:
I can see lights way down below on the port quarter. Must be Trivbury Magna.
I'll just haul the old girl round a bit and descend to 8000ft for a better look.
Fuel reserves are looking good, engine parameter checks all.OK, the old Pegasuseses are performing perfectly, they haven't missed a beat since start up. The crew and passengers are in good heart and there are no signs of scurvy on board.
Mrs. Greenwood's sister Dolly has been leading the cheery sing song session whilst busily crocheting anti-submarine nets with wire wool. She's a bit of a star really, bless her.
We are on schedule to make the RDV point at 23:59hrs. I trust our leader has found a decent bit of water for our safe landing. Well be keeping our eyes peeled for the landing designator marker flares.
Piece of Kendal Mint Cake, anyone?

Before the end of the thread I would like to request the presence of the hitherto hidden Mod.
That Mod is solely responsible for our very being on behalf of PH. Has been in the background and will be the stand in Sunderland pilot when Bomma passes out...
Mod Of This Parish...
Over to you
Bomma is flying the Sopwith. His last reported position was somewhere over the North Sea platforms ( he reported seeing the gas flares ) and Penrose is his top cover escort. He says he is refuelling in-flight, not sure how he managed that. That Mod is solely responsible for our very being on behalf of PH. Has been in the background and will be the stand in Sunderland pilot when Bomma passes out...

This is glenrobbo piloting the Sunderland with Nonsequential in the left hand seat. No worries about passing out:
We are in good shape, taking turns to fly and then relax, fly and relax, fly and rel ...... Zzzzzz
Can we round out Volume 30 discussing our Bucket Lists?
The latest addition to my list is a galvanised bucket with a lid. It will remind me of my paternal grandparents' house. It was the pig bin. The particular scraping sound of the lid against the handle is one of my earliest memories.

Would you have a can of de-icer on board? I'm currently on a reciprocal about 2000 feet below you.

You will be wholly mistaken if you think any of us do know.
We’ve allGotta meet up up one day, me
Included
Peri's gone very quiet in the Lagonda, he hasn't stopped for more reduced sausage rolls has he????
Those bds on HMS Victory have still. got the majority of my buckets, but that's not important right now.
All this sudden frenzy of posting as we hurtle towards Vol 31 is upsetting the stability of the Internet. If we don't throttle back, the dilithium crystals will overheat and the whole site will collapse on us in a veritable avalanche of hyper-Trivia. We're on a knife-edge of a cornice on top of an overhang on unstable plates of snow/ice/snow/ice
Watch out Cap'n, she's gonna blow!!!

That's a fantastic idea, just one question, are you on the Sunderland or in the boot of the Lagonda? It's the only way you're making it over to Vol31 at midnight!!!!

What's the worst that could happen ?......
Or worse still ,first to feature in the "pop off in 19" thread.
