How can you mix up a Dane and a French bloke ?
Too much booze, not enough sleep.

2019 plans to visit start here.
Or not.
Indecision.
It's difficult to recognise them when I've usually only seen them from a distance inside their cars and wearing their helmets wink

...plus too much booze and not enough sleep!drunkwobblebiggrin

Although I would really love to go to the Le Mans 24Hrs next year, I really don't think I will be able to ( Family reasons ). Maybe I could get to the 2020 Classic?

But having been there many times, I can thoroughly recommend it as a "must do"!
.

Dropped the truck to my bloke what does then drove the drive to Devon. My mum has the builders in tomorrow and what with her failing eyesight and increasing confusion we thought it a good idea if I came down to add to the confusion.

An excellent idea Dicky, you will of course be wearing full ceremonial regalia, questioning EVERYTHING , continually asking if they want a cuppa and making notes every 5 minutes!!!

Given his considerable construction abilities, I wonder if Battert might prove a valuable on-site asset for your mum's building project Dicky?

I reckon if he departs the Towers at first light tomorrow, he could be with you around Tuesday lunchtime? Late afternoon / early evening tops.

I'm saying, "Picture a musical spectrum containing Nile Rodgers and Chas'n'Dave, however broad and unlikely that might be, and now picture them playing contentedly together in a mass jam and let your heart soar at such a vison of mutual respect and understanding."

Comprendez, ' nonsequitur ' ?

But, there again, Chas'n'Dave did open for Led Zeppelin at Knebworth in 1979. Ridiculed by many but, in would seem, respected in the music industry.

Damn decent of you to say that old boy. There was some miserable old sod on here a while back bemoaning that we're a bunch of unwelcoming gits grumpy

Nice to see a bit of balance redressed at last. Good stuff.

Despite having a bath my hands still smell of J'adore.
I really do think Bomma's idea of sending Battert down to lend a hand shouldn't be dismissed lightly, I mean to say, what could possibly go wrong?!?!?
I thought you and your brother were going to try and talk your mum out of the building works Dicky?

He's just saying "Rodgers".

Probably harking back to his childhood.

Has Battert arrived in Devon yet ?

Unlikely as I just saw him on the M6, heading north.

Sorry, only just seen that autofkup had changed Jools into Hoops. And that was only after prompting.

It also changes 'good' into 'goid' for reasons I can only marvel at.

Our local newspaper was the Chronicle & Echo. On one of my old phones, the predictive text used to change 'Chron' to 'Bison'.

It caused some consternation when I asked Mrs B to pick one up on the way home.
