A Savoy Breakfast and I'm a new man. Off to take mum to one of dad's favourite pubs, the Prospect of Whitby in Wapping.
He probably went there twice.
You can't beat a good Saveloy breakfast! He probably went there twice.
Are you sure it's the right pub, Dicky?
She may be getting it confused with the Prospect of Whopping in Whitby.

I know that one, it's an incoming flight from Oslo. It'll be frozen fish and whisky, I hope they've put some detcord on too as I'm running a bit short after weeding the par terre behind the orangery.
Some good news for Bobbers, the old .177 thing I mentioned hadn't been used for ages. I dug it out and had a quick go with it, it'll still render a plant pot ineffective.
Smashed the bugger into several pieces in fact. Marvellous old thing.
Pity about the old BSA Meteor. Smashed to pieces? Some good news for Bobbers, the old .177 thing I mentioned hadn't been used for ages. I dug it out and had a quick go with it, it'll still render a plant pot ineffective.

Bobbers would have liked to play with that.
I used to borrow my uncle's BSA Cadet.
It was a small rifle but pretty powerful.
It could embed a pellet in the telegraph pole at the top of the garden from about 150 feet away.
We used to shoot little plastic cowboys & Indians figures that came in packets of Kelloggs Cornflakes.
It was .177, but I seem to remember that he also had a .183 air rifle.
Was that actually a thing back in the 1950's, or just my poor memory? It was a Daisy or a Diana or something like that. I remember he bked me once for trying to force a .183 pellet into the BSA when I'd run out of the .177s
The little round "Zubes" tins were perfect for compact pocket-size storage of ammo.

No, no. The plant pot was rendered asunder. Bobbers would have liked to play with that.

I've just been out with the old dog, the leaf situation doesn't seem to have improved. It's still quite windy, it's getting a bit chilly now.
Think I might fire up the old wood burner. Make things nice and cosy in here.
In an internet version of Where's Willy ?
Where will DC ,mum and entourage turn up next ?.......
How about a pic of Buck house.
I don't think I've ever been past Liz's gaff as most of my time in that London has been in a commercial vehicle ,be it small van or HGV and they are all banned from The Mall etc.

Clarkson had quite a gathering of HGV's, commercials and tractors etc all along the Mall for a patriotic 'Best of British' edition of Top Gear. Where will DC ,mum and entourage turn up next ?.......

Next stop for Dicky & Mum's entourage?
How about Dirty Dick's near Liverpool St? That's if it's still going?
I've been doing a pen and ink (sort of, it's actually in Photoshop) drawing of the parish church. It's nearly finished and I invited my wife to comment on it. She thought it was ok, and had I thought of drawing in some clouds? So I thought about it, and said "I could do, but the problem is I really don't know clouds at all".
