Ideally, venue, style of “do”, male:female ratio, availability or booze/food, your friends or the OH’s, will you have to drive, will it cost you?

I'm home, and we had Fajitas for tea!! MON!!!
I see the not posting is going well Peri!!
I reckon you could be right GOG440, glenrobbo is probably going to need a good scrub with a brillo pad to get that stuff off!!!
I know you can still get Brillo pads, but can you still get Vim/Ajax scouring powder in those paper canisters?I see the not posting is going well Peri!!

Sometimes even the bald ones always carry a comb.
Dibble, please don't worry about not being allowed a beer or two, because I can solemnly promise to drink your share on your behalf, as I have just become a granddad again...again!
Yes, Robbopops is proud to announce the arrival of the second new trainee TVR marshall within two weeks!
Big George arrived at roughly 14:09hrs on the dot on Friday 1st June.
He weighed in at a hefty 8lb 15 and a half oz.
A day early, which shows he is keen to get started.
Mother, Big Boy, Big Sister ( 2 & a half ) and proud Dad are all doing well.
Robbopops is pleased everything is good, and is sat in bed typing this with a 1/2 pint of iced gin & tonic with a slice as a cooling, calming nightcap.
Peri, whatever and wherever the venue of a classic car gathering, if you can get to it, then do so.
I am trying to get 90 TVRs to attend a Classic Show at Bywell in Northumbria on Sunday 1st July, but so far have only 56 confirmed. It's organised by the MG Northumbria Owners Club and there should be over 1000 Classics on display.
Check out the TVR S Series forum for details of our full 3-day programme.
Pushfit, Tuscans are more than welcome!
Tel? Is it Tel Aviv?

I've just seen the spilling mystique .
We should adopt Tel in the same way as Battert.
Tel is Frank's mate. They met on an Away Day to the Transport Museum in York organised for veterans and survivors of the disastrous 1982 Trivwick Cheese Rolling Competition held for reasons long forgotten on Trivwick Flats, the floodplain of the River Triv between Trivwick and Trivingham. The going was soft. The AEC single decker Q-type bus used to transport the Trivton Magna team to the event sank without trace in what was wittily dubbed "The Car Park" and was never seen again. Tel and Frank have long sought backing for a Discovery, Recovery and Restoration Program for the bus whose name was Florrie. We should adopt Tel in the same way as Battert.

That's an excellent bit of trivia to get the day off to a really trivial start, Dicky.
Will he be driving it?
It's not every day somebody gets the chance to drive a small Peugeot.
Oh, wait. It is every day....
No, it's on the truck. It was loaded last evening in an unprecedented outbreak of forethought and planning. Will he be driving it?

The driver plans to stop at Warwick Services for a coffee and a croissant and could be persuaded to post a picture.
Thinking about it, we should get a team together and go over to the flood plain, see if we can recover that AEC bus.
It's a shame to leave it languishing there, it'd be a useful vehicle if we could get it running again. It'd be a step forward in the Village Terrorization programme, we could go mob handed instead of going round in twos and threes.
I'll see what suitable kit we've got lying around.

I shall look forward to a picture of Warwick Services. Or do you mean a picture of a coffee and a cwassaunt? The driver plans to stop at Warwick Services for a coffee and a croissant and could be persuaded to post a picture.
Thanks Bomma, yes, two in a fortnight, just like buses.
And now to cap that, the news of Florrie!
I did hear of a Florrie who sank to low depths, but she wasn't an old bus!
glenrobbo, congrats on team enlargement. Marvellous. I'm concerned about the car event though. Yesterday afternoon travelling in the opposite direction to me I saw a brace of Bullnose Morrisses - MG ancestors as you will be aware - and this morning an MG TC in the opposite direction on the M40. My point is none were heading to Northumberland! Should I give chase?
Eight men unknown to one another walked into the Gents at Warwick Services to stand in quiet contemplation at the urinal. Business concluded six left immediately. The chap next to me at the wash basins said, "Just the two old boys washing their hands then."
"Young lads have hygienic wipes in their cars."
"They don't, do they?"
"No."
I saw a yellow TVR Griffith, the original model, in Northumberland if that's any help? Parked up in the Fish Shack car park in Amble it was.
Probably a good forty miles from Bywell though. I suppose he might have just rocked up a bit early, make the most of the sunshine. Lovely weather up there at the mo.
