It's certainly a good thought chap, I could lob one into one of the metal dustbins.

Mind, there's no telling what's in those buggers. Be worth a go though if it gets any colder.

It was a bit more involved than that I just gave edited highlights. The socket was a special one that deforms I used 3 of them in the end.
That’s the fking wheel off. I now have one lug nut missing from each wheel ( Halfords/Main Dealers/Hilton - ‘too dangerous to drive’ - yeah whatever) and a wheel off with everywhere closed for a puncture repair.
s the lot of ‘em

I'm home, I've walked 8.3 miles, consumed 4 beers and am awaiting a call to go and pick our friends up to continue with a few beers and a take away!!!! Mrs Bobbers will be driving for those questioning the picking up of friends!!!
We were accosted by an angry drunk man, met a man dressed as an old lady on his stag do and watched another group all dressed as golfers take swings with an inflatable golf club!!!!!

It’s all go up your way.
We’re going for an Indian tonight after the pub which is next door to it.
I’ve eaten nothing but Mrs P’s muffin and pebernodder all day, the peddernodder arrived yesterday with her Danish friend who is a vet.

Sone of the above isn’t important right now.

Taking a breather, watching Phantom menace. Took 45 minutes to bring all the christmas stuff out of the loft.

This years clusterflies are the worst in living memory, made worse with a bagged vacuum cleaner.

On my third bag already.

On the plus side, the evening is already full of amusement as the cat is going completely psychotic chasing the flies

I don't know about the Pegasos but I wondered about the FIAT as I have seen one there too ,same part of the world.....ish,

and I think the info with this one said 1 of 15 ,so could be same car.

Bit of a late start today as bed was at 3am ,not going to reveal quite how late but I haven't unpacked the car yet and the

camera pics are still in Fabio's boot.

I should describe the perils of Peri and the Belgium trip.

Before leaving the house at about 1am yesterday ,I checked which road ,I knew one was going to be closed ,for my route

to Dover.

The M20 east was closed ,so the diversion is easy enough ,J7 ,up the road to Sittingbourne and use the M2,A2...simples !

A few miles from Dover ,lorries going the other way are flashing lights quite excitedly ,at 3am that can't be good.

Lo and behold ,within a few minutes the traffic grinds to a halt ,can hear some bangs ,it was the tyres exploding on a blazing

lorry 200 yards away.

After standing around for a bit ,all 3 emergency services had arrived ,fire put out ,I realise there's a slip road I could use to exit

the dual carriageway ,a local lorry driver shows me the route to rejoin the A2 further down and off I go.

The roads are far too small for the HGVs to use these and the fog is a real pea souper and progress is slow ,can hardly see anything

at all and 15-20 MPH was enough.

With the minutes ticking away ,I arrive at PnO checkin a little late but okay to get the 4.20am sailing.

There was 7 private cars, a couple of East European 3.5Ts and everything else was HGVs.

The sailing home at 23.35pm was better ,got back to Calais with couple of spare hours ,I couldn't walk around the show for much

longer than the 6 hours I was there.

About 1/2 hour from Dover a Polish man had a fit seizure episode and collapsed about 20 yards from where I was sat and

needed medical attention ,a paramedic vehicle drove onto the ferry at Dover.

M20 was closed again on way home ,only this time westbound......rolleyes...thanks whoever does that.

I got menaced by a Phantom today.. or more specifically by its wing pylon. These are incredibly heavy and have a very sharp edge where they blend into the wing surface. Said edge happens to be at about shin height.
My leg hurts rather a lot tonight!

Mrs GOG has spent the day in Leeds at a Prosecco and gin fest, I have had to stay alcohol free so i could pick her and my sil up.
Mrs GOH is now "tired" and has gone to bed, leaving me to make up for lost time, currently 2/3 of the way through a 100ml bottle of 15yr old glenfiddich i was bought last christmas

Whiskey then beer makes you queer

It was a dinky little bottle, it came with a similarly sized bottle of 18yr old and 12 yr old, all now sadly empty.
Cant decide whether to stick with whisky or go for a change and have some calvados

Trivia update from chez O:-

Jan & Mark are joining us for New Year's Eve at The Crown. Jan has agreed to sing a number with me on stage, which is good as she has a voice to die for. I've suggested Dream a Little Dream of Me, which i) she's happy with and ii) I've managed to fudge an intro to:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIdnv6ZuUuc

The rest of the tune is easy enough.

ION, Nicaraguan rum - as a mixer - is very agreeable indeed

Sedgemoor Services. New car running well. The non-standard radio is crap and the CD changer doesn't work. My singing isn't up to much either.
