By the Cringe, I'm back on the 'net again. Twice in a day, has to be some sort of record for these parts. Maybe it only works on a Sunday, might be to do with the 1974 invasion. Buggered if I know.
Anyhow, about to have a bit of scoff. 'Large Pork Chop' or 'Home made Moussaka'.
In deference to gr, I think I'll have the Moussaka. And a triple NOM. Sod the expense.

This evening I'm about to tuck into a ham & tomato pasta bake with baby trees.

I tend not to bother with ready meals. I prefer to cook fresh meat and produce.
Am I missing out on monosodium glutamate and other preservatives and flavour enhancers?

Can’t easily beat a Fray Bentos set meal for one - steak pie. Which is a shame as it’s the only way to open the tin to get at the frankly awful contents.

A pain in the neck, and now wind?

You really need to come down from that tree:
"AO, let's go!" as they say on TV.

ION, I have just received comms from our Bomma:
He says all is well on the Island of Aphrodite, the home made moussaka was awesome, and does Pushfit want some?
He said to pass on his good wishes to all you bds on TT.
Penrose is behaving himself really well, he seems to enjoy the 20°C ambient temp and the seafood. His bill is enormous, but we knew that already.
Bomma is now four or five days into his ordeal, but seems to be bearing it in good spirits. Metaxa?
I told him I've put my Christmas tree up and he said that must smart a bit. xmas

That's all for now, I'm signing off for now. Nite Nite.

Many Happy Returns to Kirk Douglas, 102 today.

' I am Spartacus ' he didn't say, as he was the titular hero of the movie and his buddies were pretending to be him, and this confused the Romans as there were no police mug shots in them days. So he got away with it. But eventually came to a sticky end. Laurence Olivier was very pleased.

If you smother them in brown sauce, then you are safe.

OK, whilst my beef & vegetable stew is slow cooking tomorrow, I shall get hold of a recipe for brown sauce and shop for the ingredients in case I decide to buy a load of ready-meals. thumbup
