I did notice Dibble but never mentioned it as in your position I guessed that there always might be complications meaning inability to be trivial.

Have the comfy chair ,I'll bring over the bar snacks........hurl
I’ve refrained posting any pictures or video of the adjustment, in an attempt not to put you off your dinner!

Chunks, nice motor.
Hi Dibble, sorry to hear of your fall mate, I would normally insert some kind of derogatory comment about being old and infirm or drunk and incapable or some such thing, but that seems inappropriate after it transpires that you threw yourself down the stairs in a vain attempt to garner more sympathy for your predicament!!!!! smile
Glad to hear no more damage, but seriously, we NEED to see the gruesome video!!!

You were indeed conspicuous by your absence Dibble. I'd noticed all the Elastoplast and the large wound dressing was missing from the first aid box so I assumed Matron was tending to your needs.
I had started making one of those ball things with the rubber bands that the post comes in and that's gone too but hey ho, I'll start another.
If 'Lovely GF, by, that one's a keeper' is chancing by the chippie, could she add a couple of battered sausage and a pea cluster to the order? Not to worry if she's already been, I've got a fair supply of pizza for now.

Anyhow, good to hear everything's moving in the right direction now old chap. Good stuff.

Yes, it was June. Her out of the Good Life thing, with whatsisname who used to pop up on The Sweeney as a villain.

Anyhow Peri, can't you watch LM24 on the TV? I can get it on Virgin, on Eurosport. Even though I don't subscribe, I can still view it.

Still, we're having a break from the racing. Mrs B's watching Holby Casualty ED and me and Grandbomma are having another go with the Spirograph. Bloody good fun it is.

Welcome back Dibble, I wondered where you'd ran off too! wink

Glad to hear you're on the rebound anyway. thumbup

Recommended video for your viewing pleasure: "Falling Down" starring Michael Whatsisname, you know, the one who married Catherine Zeta-Jones. Not Barrymore... scratchchin.....err....
Dunno wot he saw in her really? She was only Delboy's daughter. rolleyes He could have done a lot better...

Recommended reading: "The Turn of the Screw" by some well-known author or other.

Not recommended pastime this week: Skateboarding. nono
Ask Bomma if you can borrow his Spirograph instead, when he & Grandbomma have had enough.

Watch out for that lovely GF of yours: she may be just after your titanium.

I''ll pop over later with some grapes. Do you prefer them ready-trodden?

Nice MX-5 there, Mr. Chunks.thumbup Good solid PH choice. Whose 40th was it?

More whisky, Bobbers? Excellent. smile But I hope you didn't overdo it with the sherry. wink

Peri Como: Apparently Quest ( Ch 37 on Freeview ) are showing live coverage of LM24 at 22:00 hrs this evening. clapdriving

I have just settled down with a nice pint of gin & tonic while I'm waiting...

Cheers! drink

Hadn't paid any heed to it old chap, it's a good thought though. Most of the stuff we've done so far has been largely experimental, I'll see if we can create a proper one for you tomorrow.

Grandbomma wonders if it does go global, could we use Hatchimal as an international currency?

Think we timed the chippy run badly tonight and got the “end” of one lot of chips. The fish is usually done to order so was spot on as usual, but the chips, weren’t as good as they normally are. Being northern (not by birth, that’s worse, I’m a midlander, northern by long term residence) I also had a barm cake and a can of Vimto.

I’ve not had a drink for a while now. It’s almost getting to the stage where I no longer miss it... but stick a decent pint of beer down in front of me and I’m right back there! I’ve got gin in, and a couple of rather splendid bottles of rum to go at, but the whole “carrying” thing is still beyond me while I’m on two crutches.

The fall wasn’t even a big one, just caught my duff leg on the edge of the bath, but enough to open up the semi healed wound where the staples were taken out. Back on track with that and Lovely GF has done a dressing change tonight. Having the “pin sites” cleaned really does sting (”pin sites” are where the metal rods go through the flesh of my leg, there are 12 in all...).

I’ll see if I can somehow upload the very short video to YouTube so if people do wan5 a look. It’s there, rather than it being here in the thread. Give me a few minutes to work that out...

5 minutes waiting Dibble, we need some gore!!! Well Bomma I reckon we can work out a deal with yourselves, I feel with the right marketing, the use of social media, flooding the internet and TV advertising, we could be talking, oh I don't know, a hatchimal per signed design!!!!!

It’s not gore, but the YouTube link should be working?
