I'd heard of steampunk, and all I'd ever really knew about it was top hats and goggles.

Steampunk Extravaganza 2018 today at Blists Hill Museum near Ironbridge was an eye opener.

Friendly group of people and a good time had by all :-)

Sc , it is road registered ,7.6 litre, named "medusa" .....i am doing wiring at the moment , then off for mot.

I don't want to threadjack ,SC , i know how irritating that can be ,

but there is a build thread and some video about the net , look for "medusa twin engined car" ,


oh, i did remember another steam punky bit of it so here's another picture or two ,from a different angle ...











i built it to run on lpg , hence the design , each copper pipe carried lpg gas to each cylinder ,from a reservoir .needless to say i drilled the eye

sockets of the faces ,and fitted colour changing led's behind ,these come on when the gas is activated .
