That's mad. Wonder how many sold before they realised.

Mad that they fulfilled the order! Most retailers will cancel orders when a mistake like that is made. Wish I got in on it, I would have used it too rather than sell it on.

The £110 gift card, for £100, was a good one

Philips hue dimmer switches are now cheaper today than they were on prime day (£14 v £16 from £18), glad I didn’t buy any on Prime day.

Any thoughts on this Philips ambilight tv? 43" 4K HDR. Been looking at ones like this for a while.

With the eArc HDMI, I won't have any issues with the sound coming out of my AV receiver instead of the tv?

Philips Ambilight 43PUS8545
I've had the 55" since March, great TV, does what it says on the tin. Sound for me goes via the eARC HDMI to a SONOS Beam. I notice some lag issues when using some of the in-built apps but if I change it over to a firestick then no issues whatsoever. Essentially the TV is a 'Fire TV' but it's not quite as polished as a firestick.

Bought a Samsung TV during prime day, very good price but not from amazon directly. Got a message saying it had been dispatched not long after but last night the order was cancelled, money returned and a £50 gift card. It was a good price so I guess a mistake.

Anyone had similar?

I picked up the Lego Architecture Statue of Liberty set, for £57.49 instead of the RRRP of £89.99, so I’m happy with that. It’s obviously not the kind of mega saving some got on the security camera, but then I’m easily pleased!

Im guessing the gift card is to make sure you dont complain. As most t&c state the contract is formed at dispatch. So could argue you should receive the item.

I've a question for anyone who's bought several (5+) items at once.

I'm planning on buying multiple items, and hopefully have it set to all arrive at the same time. Part of me wants to order it to be delivered to my local offie as part of pass+/pass my parcel. How will I know if all the items are going to be in 1 box, or come in several?

Suppose I had 10 items that all came in 4 boxes, but i collected 3, and didn't know until i got home that one of my items wasn't there. where do you know how many boxes/packages there will be?

It depends on availability.

From prime day so far I’ve had 4 different deliveries and there is one more to come.

You will get dispatch notifications and it will tell what is in what package

I'm just asking in general. I don't have prime but figured this'd be a good thread to ask in.

My emails don’t say, just a price. They used to list items, don’t know why it’s changed

I once ordered a network switch and 20 x 1m patch cables, in one order from one supplier, with one despatched email. Postie had to deliver 21 packages, he was properly pissed off smile

Don’t they have an option now when you can choose a particular day of the week for your packages to be delivered, and anything you order that week will all be delivered together on that day?

Yep. Although I’ve still had parcels delivered on the wrong day when I’m not about as amazon have sent them early like they’re doing me a favour. Here’s a reason I selected a day. But it roughly works.
