Read the review before you buy one! Not as good as you would expect with 1 star.https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/15036012234
Bought an ACEPC mini PC and got just under £100 off. This one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B089WCSPDZ
Made it cheaper than the lesser specced ones I had been looking at so a no brainer really. It’s not the most powerful, but it only going to sit in our garden room so we can can watch dodgy F1 streams without having to grab my son’s MacBook every race weekend.
Also a long, flat HDMI cable to go with it.
Won a Logitech media keyboard on eBay last night and paid - Amazon have it on offer today for about £7 less than I paid. Ah well….

Suddenly decided I couldn't live without a laser measuring device - despite it never occurring to me that I needed one before today. I do need to measure some areas in the garden though and it will make that much easier, so Bosch GLM50C is on the way.
Also chucked an Alexa Auto in the basket. I use a dashcam which has built in Alexa in one of my cars, but it can be a bit flaky connecting with the phone. Already have an auto alexa in another car which seems much more reliable - so for the sake of £25, ordered another one and will turn the camera Alexa off.

Looking at ring door bells and alarm, they are reduced but are they any good? Pro door bell with chime has 7-9 weeks dispatch!!
I've got one of the older bells, it's ok to be fair. Depends on your Wifi really though and proximity to the road. Our house is set well back so have no alerts from random people passing.Bear in mind you need a subscription to record anything, though works equally well without one.
I think i got mine when it was about £60. Wouldn't pay any more than that. We use our echos as the chime.

Amazon Show 5- Can anyone comment on whether or not they are any better than a standard Alexa? Always been tempted by them and I have an Alexa in most rooms but no Show variant, would probably be mainly in the bedroom as an Alarm clock due to it's display function to show time.
Just get the Dot 4 with built in clock if you won't use the screen muchZoon said:

It regularly disconnects from the wifi for no good reason "I'm having trouble connecting" and needs a cable pull to reboot it.
The Youtube integration is just a browser based launcher which they've recently abandoned Firefox for in favour of their own Silk Browser, so you can't even cast to it from your phone.
If you're running something like Youtube and then ask it to set an Alarm, it quits the browser and you have to start again (might need to RTFM it).
Integration to my Arlo cameras is so sodding slow it's quicker just to look out the windows.
It came free as part of a tyre fitting promotion but otherwise I wouldn't have bothered to spend my own money on it.
