I sent the Samsung Live earbuds back after trying them for a few days. The sound quality was awful connected to by Galaxy S10 phone.
They sounded like a set of old wired earphones with a damaged jack at times.

Still very proud of never having used this place for about 8 years now. Mainly due to how they treats staff and drivers.

It won't make the damndest bit of difference when they take over the world, sell you cars, houses, banking, air, electricity

But at least I will be able to say I told you so!!

Cool story. The staff must be treated better than my current place as one of our staff has left to go back to them!

No one is forced to work for any firm and if enough people leave for "better" jobs this forces change, I think the reality is many warehouse jobs will be done by robots soon enough an delivery by drone can't be far off

The actual wages for a warehouse operative are quite decent (£20k+) but picking side of distribution is already being highly automated, soon the logistics side will be as well then there will be millions less jobs and tax being paid into the system.

Warehouse the size of seven football fields with thousands of robots located in London

A luddite, really?

You would rather every shop closes in the high street, your roads are filled up with vans, lorries, every piece of land is sold to build a bloody distribution centre?

All so that you can buy something you don't really need and have it delivered tomorrow?

Sorry but I call that monumentally selfish, ignorant, rude, self indulgent and actually inhumane if you think about how they treat workers.
but hey, I'm sure that purchase really made your day.

Obviously I know I am not going to do anything about them, they will pretty soon own you, your house, everything, space, the planets.

Be afraid, be very afraid. Only part of this is a joke!

Please explain how one van delivering items to 50 addresses creates more traffic than 50 cars from those addresses driving to a shop to collect a single item?

The ratios vary of course, and you could blather on about busses, cycling or walking but none of those are practical in my part of the world, but the simple fact is that internet-enabled fast home delivery is a more efficient way of doing business than high street retail in the majority of cases, and that's why the high streets are dying out.

You can do as much of your drama-queen dying-swan whining and foot stamping as you like, it won't change a thing.

Prime exclusive early access sale.

I've found a few goodies, saved a (genuine) £300 on a Philips 4k telly, I know because I've been watching it for ages.
And a few hundred off (possibly an Acer oled laptop. So I'm quite happy.

Please could you provide a link to the telly, I’m in the market for one and am hoping you fully researched the market and can save me hours of research. biggrin

Ordered a pair of Salomon Speedcross 4 for £69 which is about the best price I've ever found them for so happy with that.

Nothings beating the mis-priced Arlo CCTV from a few years though with its £850 discount though biggrin

Nothing really taken my fancy this year. Got a lighting kit for some lego that was discounted. But that's it.

Do they keep adding stuff as time elapses or is that it now?

Picked up some board games I've fancied for a while, not massively cheaper than standard discounts but the best price online I could find.

Looked at an air fryer but it looked like a weird shape (circle with paddles) and I'm not sure that's the best approach.

See if this works (remember they only keep x units for these things, so stocks may be low/not there now)

I was about to go ahead and order that Philips telly before I read one of the reviews saying that the user runs a Fire Stick with it due to slightly poor software on the TV for streaming apps. I'm thinking about a new one because my ageing Samsung is a bit annoying on that front, so I guess I'll pick up a discounted Fire Stick and see how that goes :-). I got a kids' tablet for cheap too, happy days for a bound-to-be-popular Christmas present!

Probably every TV I’ve used from cheap to expensive the built in software is crap. It would be nice if they just binned it off as I suspect a large portion of those accessing that type of content are doing it through a 3rd party piece of hardware.
