My victim is so vanilla/un-stalkable I've been forced to buy a present based on their preferences which they may actually enjoy and like.

I feel like a failure.

I've worked out what I'm getting mine...few bits have turned up already (one is something purely because it made me laugh!).

But as they've made it impossible to find anything about them. I'm going to make it a bh to get into!

After a lengthy and detailed stalk with little to go on I've finally discovered my victim has a penchant for spice, so although I now have a number of good leads I'm just waiting for the appropriate gumtree listing for free redundant watch/ring mannequin arms and then it's straight to 'searing hot chillis r us' and the post office.

Doubt it.

I had one of those PH Johnny Foreigner types last year (a long-haul version rather than a weekend Euro-break) and it cost me over £20 just to post the bloody thing - wasn't even that big or weighty!!

We usually refrain from mentioning amounts in the thread to avoid potential disagreements. I doubt anyone ever manages to stick to the £10 though.

You are not alone.

I did all my research on said victim and came up with the absolutely most perfect pressie idea

So I contact the manufacturer ...... typephonetypephonetypephonetypephone

Manufacturer eventually admits said:
Hummmm yeah, that's a really good idea. But we can't do that. Here's the name of a Retailer who does that
Erm, this is the effin 21st century. They still stuck in the 18th!!!!!!

Anyway, I pop into one of said Retailers major stores .....

Asst Store Manager at Retailers major store said:
Hummmm, never heard of that. No such thing.
Erm ..... yes there is. The manufacturer told me that they don't do it (oddest thing ever, but there you go), but you do. Look, here's their email telling me so (showing him their email response on my phone)

Asst Store Manager at Retailers major store said:
Hummmm, still no such thing. Let me do a check on the system ........ nope, absolutely nothing
So I give up. And drive 32-odd miles to another store of said major Retailer. And basically repeat discussion as above.

So bottom line, back to square 1 cry

The intent was there on a really awesome SS; something that most of us would think is pretty basic and fundamental, and the 'norm' in 2018. But not this manufacturer.

So plan B it is. I don't know what plan B is, but that's what it is.

I'm in the same boat. Had something simple, but I think would have been really well received by my victim. Hit a brick wall dealing with the company though. Back to the drawing board with less time to spare.

Mine arrived, thanks Santa! Nothing rattling around inside, and in a rather conventional amazon box. It's the only gift sitting under the tree so stands out a bit.

I was hit with a bit of bad health recently, so fell off this thread a bit. But the gift pepped me up and reminded me I need to get a move on with choosing/making something for my victim. I completed stalking a while ago so already have a few ideas evil

2gins read the box. It would appear the large notice of outer box can be opened prior to Xmas has been missed.

xaero Sorry to hear about your I'll health, you may open your box if you wish. Each gift is individually wrapped and numbered with a cover letter to explain the order.

Merry Christmas!!

Not at all Santa, I just haven't got a tree up yet. Been too busy sorting out collapsed toilet.
