You know what they say:Red sky at night, sheperd's delight.
Red sky in the morning, global warming.
South Bucks to East Berks - very bad on the roads.
Two strokes of genius on my part;
1, Renewing the winter tyres in November
2, Chosing the remotest lanes possible, those that mere mortals with summer tyres would never dare to venture onto.
Probably got about 2cm of sitting snow here in Maidenhead now and the whole lot looks like it is going to freeze later on.

Got off the ferry in Portsmouth at 3.30, arrived back home in Tring at 7.50.... Grrr...
Came off the 25 at M40 as it was looking bad ahed, thought Id be clever and and shoot up to Denham and take the A roads...
The A413 was standing traffic all the way into Chalfont st peter, so I hit the back roads, and even that was hard work due to people being totally unable to cope with an inch of slush....
HATE this country when it we get any amont of snow, people are so woefully equipped to deal it.

Got mixed up in the same approx. area (round Wooburn Green) trying to get from M3 to M1, avoiding the M25, following the playmobil / Vtech Garmin SatNav in hired E Class. Should have just slogged it out on the M25.Came off the 25 at M40 as it was looking bad ahed, thought Id be clever and and shoot up to Denham and take the A roads...

Not the best conditions for playing in an unfamiliar low-profile, summer-tyred RWD.
