Any news on it potentially warming up next week?

I'm on the Norfolk coast from Tues to Fri. Looking good?

Thanks.
Short cold spell for the weekend, then high pressure looks to build and dominate for Easter. Not nailed on, but likely.
Thanks.

Interesting to note that if we had had this weather a few months ago we'd have been in the freezer.

yes It's a glorious 4°c here this morning, and barely scraped into double figures yesterday.

A slightly less glorious -8c here, but there's only about three inches of snow. Wife is pissed as pre-school got cancelled so she has to deal with both kids today....

And another couple of inches overnight. Fnarr. Apparently winter hasn't got the notification that it's over yet.

Sunny here in the west coast of Scotland but it's quite breezy and the wind is cold.

Don't know what the temp was but at about 2am this morning there were matrix signs on southside of M25 lit up with

"Salt spreading".

If in doubt ,spread salt ,everywhere.

Didn't actually see a lorry , I was half asleep.

Looks like it will freeze again tonight, it was only 4c at 5pm with the sun still up.

And it's snowing again. Coming down at a decent pace, but it's above freezing so no accumulation.

Still, not bad seeing as none was forecast for today.

Last time that happened was a few years back; got four inches.

Good chance of a potent northerly next weekend. For most of us, just cold, cant rule out hill snow.

You couldn't just let the thread lie, could you? You just had to bring it up again, didn't you?

Just had a look at the XC Weather forecast for the coming week & there is some snow in it for Bank Holiday week-end! Not that XC Weather tends to be a bit extreme that far into the future.

Yep you did it alright, it's snowing again here.

I'm at 5,893 ft, so I suppose that counts as hill snow...
