Assumed would be thread about IBS.

Windscreen iced up two weeks ago, ground frost yesterday. Elevation of 150m, SE facing. Have crampons at the ready.

Usul, we have snow sign.

Not really settling though it is -2c.

I'm just glad I got my sprinkler system blown out last night.

Lovely warm weather today, just sat outside for lunch and it felt like summer again.

Got Friday booked off work to walk up Snowdon. Forecast is for a yellow rain warning and wind at the summit is 61mph gusting to 81mph. Might have a day in the pub instead.

I'm going to Devon at the weekend. The surf will be good, the camping not so much. banghead

Ahh the easy set plastic ones.
Good kill rate with them last year tbh
The wood ones don’t like the weather / wet...
The white ones with the flap at the back to set it and the row of nasty teeth?

Set it and keep your finger on the flap and press the bait plate down so it’s just at the point of going off then put it in the desired place. It takes a bit of practice not to set it off when you put it down, or you can do the same whilst it’s already on the floor but it’s slighty awkward.

Looks terrible. Must be terrifying.

Meanwhile in Yorkshire it was sunny and I cut the grass. (Suspect for the last time this year).

Is it going to snow this year. What are the predictions? I sold my Range Rover in the summer if that influences anything!

Storm Callum

It seems it is going to get a bit blowey, but rainy?

Looks like the South East may escape the rain but still get a bit of a blow?

They do shut down under certain conditions. I used to work in that world but have moved on so details hazy but some turbines can withstand higher winds or gusts, most (probably all) re-start themselves a few times before completely shutting down. But they do shutdown.

Blowing a hoolie in Devon, but 20°c! Surf report says the conditions are for experienced stormriders only. So we're off for a walk...
