Thank for the warning of buggering winds and the sea attacking me as I walked the 3 miles to where I staying on the IOM and walking as no busses on this side.

big waves but a chance of snow according to local reports.

Do I care Na being a weird Canadian snow is great fun

It will annoy if the flights are cancelled on Friday back to Bristol.

GFS always overplays the Atlantic influence and is poor at forecasting easterly influence. I’d lean more towards ECM at this point
I’ve got a better indicator, how’s the Aga?

Looks like they were wrong. GFS made huge changes towards ECM tonight.

Now where did I put that sledge?

I'm eagerly anticipating Snow.

Instead, I've got mild drizzle in Lancashire. Although I work from home, I'm desperate for a Snow Day...

Well snow is falling at the Lecht. I'm now waiting for the closure of the A939 at Cock Bridge.

GFS has flip flopped today. This morning it went to cold and wet, today it's back in snowland. ECM and UKMO both still going snow.

Here we go - glad I didn't transfer the bad news across this morning hehe

Widespread hill snow from now - lowland/southern areas have to look towards mid week next week (which is obviously outside of the reliable timeframe).

We need a standing rule on this thread that all pictures of snow need to be accompanied by a general location

Good to see the weather models are factoring in the Manchester snow umbrella:
