Pretty windy here in Cheshire, wife was looking out of the window and the dog proceeded to park his breakfast, just as the most enormous gust rattled through, due to his sub optimal position during his function, the wind knocked him off balance and he nearly fell in his own output, wife was almost crying with laughter.

Beautiful summer's day in MK, 22C. Bit of wind.

Confused.

I was parked the other side of the bridge (same side of the river) from here maybe an hour before this video was taken yesterday, I actually had to use the main road to get there, too, as all the minor roads were impassable.
Remember this is Wales - we're used to dealing with rainfall.
Carmarthenshire has been properly damp.

Was in the garden all yesterday afternoon, very warm in Leicester.

Nothing but rain this morning.

Just a mile or so from my parents (they're safe on top of a hill):

This is Llechryd bridge on the A484 between Newcastle Emlyn and cardigan, if you know that stretch.

It normally looks like:

...and by way of data, the river level station a mile upstream, has recorded a new record high by quite a bit:

Bloody hell - makes the couple of inches of standing water in my back garden seem very minor frown

New Forest is flooded everywhere. Water just can't soak into the ground quickly enough so it's just running off. Bug puddles. Rivers overflowing.

It's easing off now, but it's been very wet.

A dusting of snow so far, but it is at least sticking to the roads today. Can't see us getting more than an inch, though. -7c before wind-chill.

I suspect that there's a lot more further west in the Rockies.

Edit- forecast is for upto another eight hours of it and 1-6". We might get 1", I think.

Today is less than half the temperature of yesterday. Plus it's pissed it down all day.

I'd have thought you'd be in the Beacons for the weekend - perfect weather for your training...

Probably should have been. It's hard to feel the training benefit when is 22C. Need winter to hurry up and get here

Just back from a cheeky 6 miler - still firm underfoot but waterlogged all the way. Won't be long until we're back to boggy normal.

Crazy weather this weekend up on the tops of West Yorkshire. Bounced it down all Saturday, poor visibility but 18 degrees. Sunday bounced it down until mid-afternoon then a beautiful clear spell until sunset, but a fresh 6 degrees. nuts

I'm not sure where JJJ is but I'm in Colorado - up in the Rockies about an hour or so west of Denver.

I made it in a roundabout way. It's cold up here tonight - currently 4f (-15c). No more snow forecast for this week though.

High pressure continues to dominate for foreseeable future. Misty and murky, not much rain. Low pressure in the Atlantic might occasionally affect NI/W Scotland more.
