Good to see the weather models are factoring in the Manchester snow umbrella:

Unfortunately too far out to hold any weight.

Lost the snow since moving sadly. We got a little bit a few days ago but waiting for the proper stuff to arrive at some point.

Very true. ECM shows snow for most of UK for Friday, but not much.

Tis like a mirage I tell thee....

We can hope though, I'd quite like a snowy few days.

I hate to say it, but we need lots of wet weather this Winter to fill the reservoirs up. Plenty of time yet I suppose, but I drove past a couple recently that were still really low.

Radar shows it's snowing outside- dare I look?

Can't tell - might be sleet!

Upgrades overnight- next Tues could be substantial snow.

Netweather erring on the side of caution for north Essex next week - showing sleet but looks like it's a bit too warm (5 degrees) for snow.

Widespread snow over London this morning... At best it's slightly cold rain here (Surrey)!

Bitterly cold overnight in Queensbury, West Yorkshire. The cars were iced up by 9pm. Light dusting of snow overnight, but only a dusting. Looks like it's going to be a very cold and clear day which is far preferable to warm and dull in my books.
