Is there a 'things that won't happen' thread on here to post that in?
Apart from the hills, it's only 0.1-2cm. Very wet, on warm ground... It won't settle much.

Can anyone on here tell me how to find out what the wind speed was in a particular part of England on a certain date this year?
Google is not proving to be my friend.

Cheers
Can you give me the details, and I'll have a go?

Hail!

Run for your lives.
My poor 10 year old daughter was running an inter-school cross country race when it hailed. It hurt just standing out in it in good clothing, let alone running with bare arms and feet!

Saw a car with snow on it on M4 eastbound past Reading at 05.15.

Lots of the stuff up north, waiting to fly to Edinburgh, hopefully no issues!

Lots of snow on the Pennines and the hills south of Edinburgh. Sleeting in the city.

Warmer weekend, but potential for some widespread snow next week with another cold blast. I'll be in the Algarve, so I'm afraid you're on your own from here biggrin

Here in SW London it seems to have been grey for weeks, with the forecast of more grey for weeks to come.

Please tell me i'm wrong!
Real picture taken at the time. I'm in the Algarve. Only 18 degrees but sun is so strong.

Any news on it potentially warming up next week?

I'm on the Norfolk coast from Tues to Fri. Looking good?

Thanks.
Short cold spell for the weekend, then high pressure looks to build and dominate for Easter. Not nailed on, but likely.

Good chance of a potent northerly next weekend. For most of us, just cold, cant rule out hill snow.

I'm extremely disappointed with the temperature today in north east London. I will be outdoors from 2:00pm until 10:00pm.

I'd like something done about it please. Can you move some lines on your charts around a bit Puggit?

Thanks.
Done... wink
