Hi there though I would start a project thread had my golf about 4 months brought of my dad it's mint body work is mint full service history 98k runs amazing not the quickest thing needs a remap so far I have fitted coilovers full stainless steel exhaust leather interior need to sort the alloys out have Porsche turbo twist just need some adapters so today I fitted some R8 coilpacks and it runs nice also fitted a ecs n75 race valve which everyone says are rubbish but I think it makes it run smooth also fitted some black coolant cap and washer bottle here are some pics cheers
Lol where do I start , have just purchased some powerflex top mounts and bushes because mine have had it,going to try a fit these this weekend but weathers not great .need to sort my alloys out got the Porsche twist I took off the Audi but need adapters.also want to do some engine work front mount ,bigger intake remap, injectors hoping for around 240 but need to change the clutch to a solid one
I was kind of thinking the same bud.problem with the MK4s are if you modify them properly they can look good but there are some horrible. Examples out there being 37 don't want to chav it up want to keep it almost standard on the outside want the anniversary splitter front and rear but that's about it.am currently looking at some Porsche front brakes
Looks very clean
I had a black one years ago. I remember it feeling really solid and well made , especially the interior.
The mk5 gti I had felt really cheap inside compared to the mk4
People used to slate the these handeling wise however I fitted some coilovers and it wasn’t to bad at all
