5 for the batsman?
I know nine

1. Bowled
2. Caught
3. LBW
4. Run out
5. Stumped
6. Hitting own wicket
7. Handling the ball
8. Double hit
9. Obstructing fielder
10. Timed out, takes too long to appear.
Is caught and bowled classed as being different from just caught?confused

Well, depending on which source you refer to, it's Essex! But it's one of those questions that always sparks a bit of an argument as Cornwall and also Kent get close.

Prior to 1963, it was certainly Essex as the county went quite a bit further into London than it does today.

I like this question, and have heard it before but I also think the answer is a dubious and therefore doesn't make the cut.

As to the cricket one, I'd already put that in. Wikipedia has it as 10, with "handled the ball" now obsolete.

Very few people twigged this General Knowledge round.

Funnily enough I asked a round called "Knowledge of Generals" a few years ago. Similar questions. Better still, I correctly identified Bo and Luke Duke as cousins, not brothers :-)

Surely it depends on where you define the coast and where it becomes The River Thames...

Re the football team

It is that pox ridden side who play in the camel dome in London N5 when they bribed their way into the first Div after WW1

Poor Everton dropped out of the old Div 1 i th 1930's and again in the early 50's

So the coorect answer ( spit) is the Woolwich Wanderers
