Milk (when they are young) but then water when they grow up, gotta wash all that grass down somehow!

Depends on the slot. Some can only accept bread, some have a special slot for bagels, and some come with these little pouches that you can put a pre-prepared sandwich in which will then become toasted

I think the only thing I can take away from this is that I should never host a quiz for PH members.
Maybe a car quiz ?

Name three cars that share their names with classic grumble magazines.

Harmony restore, two of PHers favourite subjects in one question.

This is one of the contentious questions I hate about pub quizzes. Taking the question at face value, the answer is Matilda, daughter of Henry I and was declared heir presumptive. She did reign in her own right, (1141) but the throne was seized by Stephen (1135-1141 and 1141-1154). After Stephens death, Matilda's son Henry was crowned Henry II (1154-1189)

Matilda reigned but was never coronated, nor was 9 day Jane. Mary I was the first to be crowned Queen in her own right, Matilda was the first to reign, but was never crowned. The way the question is worded, the answer is Matilda.
Worry not, it won't get asked in any quiz of mine :-)

Near Instantaneous Companded Audio Mulitplex. Nope, I didn't look it up. A few years working in the master control room at Television Centre (1983-86) and you learn a thing or two about being a nerd.

In 2007, which product of the entire BMW Group had the longest single panel?

And...

Which BMW Group model was their first vehicle to feature an active rear spoiler?

'fraid not... It was the roof on the 1st Gen MINI Clubman.

The first to have an active rear spoiler was the MINI Roadster - weird that no BMW had ever had one before.

In fairness, it is riveted. And it uses a hell of a lot fewer than I was told when I was a kid, and have therefore carried in my head for forty years!

Google says they've been replacing rivets with nuts and bolts. And that bolts used in putting together the restaurants had to match (aesthetically) the rivets.

Another potential quiz night fight there. smile

Well, every day's a school day. Didn't know that, thanks for the brief history.

About the only question (actually round) that ever stuck in my brain from a pub quiz started with 'name a mouse'. Question 2...'name a mouse'. Question 3 through to 20...'name a mouse'.
Must have been a bugger to mark, random answers after using up the usual suspects (Mickey, Jerry, Danger etc) included 'a little mouse with cloggs on' (accepted despite being un-named), Modest Mouse (band) and Eek-a-mouse (reggae bloke).
