My sister got an autographed photo of Peters, Hurst and Moore from West Ham back in 1969/70.

I think it was this one -

I was 11 in 1966 so the England team were part of my big bunch of heroes , along with racing drivers and Donald Campbell and the early astro and cosmo naughts .
Sadly so few of them still survive.

None of the Mercury astronauts are alive any more and, as far as I know, all of the initial cosmonaut selection has now passed away.
