Keith Flint - from The Prodigy.

Only 49!
FFS
Just popped up in my news alert. Informed a colleague of mine [25], who replied, "Who?" rolleyes

Firestarter (and 'Fat of the Land') was released over 20 years ago. I am feeling very old all of a sudden ...
Well a 25 year old isn’t going to necessarily know the name of a 49 year old pop star who was at their peak, when they were not long out of nappy’s.

RIP.
One Prodigy memory for me was from ‘97 taking my then three year old son and his friend on holiday to a mates parents caravan. Parking up at Reception to grab some keys and hearing full blast and full on bass The Prodigy ‘Breath’. Turning to my friend and saying something along the lines of being at a family caravan park and who was playing that music so loud... it was our kids, in my car. They’re 25 and 27 now. Both still love The Prodigy. As do me and my friend who’s just text me.

Worth checking before posting. I was going to post that a former Friends star had died. But that's Matthew Perry.

Going to have to put on Out of Space later and dance around like an idiot for a few minutes.
I'll join you. Their music changed my life and that track (and Charly) feel like part of my DNA.

I guess that's the end of the Prodigy now? Ah man. frown

I’ve been moving all my vinyl out of storage in to a unit in my living room last week. Pulled out Talk Talk love to listen to and the old Prodigy 12”... I feel bad! Also FGTH and some Bronski Beat, Duran Duran. Fingers crossed everyone else is safe tonight.

Please tell me you've got some Coldplay or Red Hot Chilli Peppers on vinyl.

Someone I had heard of and hadn't been a massive fan of for years.

I got to say, yesterday was a good day.

Ice Cube next no doubt.

??? A good day because a wrestler died? You know WWE/F is fake, right?

You should have maybe read my post before commenting Not someone I had been a massive fan of for years like Mark Hollis and Keith Flint.

Where did I say I was pleased a wrestler had died.

Get a grip, man.

The bit where you say someone you have heard of and haven't been a massive fan of for years, followed by yesterday was a good day.

The inference there being you are pleased that someone has shuffled off this mortal coil.

How stupid are you?

As I said, when did I saw I was pleased a wrestler had died.

Today was a good day for me as none of my personal heroes had died in the last 24 hours.

Why not get back to Wrestle Mania and leave me alone.
