I was supposed to talk myself into going for a nice walk this afternoon, I failed, all I can think about is going home for a kip!!!!!!
Don't feel you have to use random characters to protect the impressionable. We're all friends here. If you want to go home for a kipper, just say so.
The sad truth is Dicky I have to go home and try and work out why the Rover has a flat battery, I found it unlocked this morning and dead as a Dodo!!!! frown

Could have been worse if it was deadlocked with a flat battery.
At least you can get into the car, Bobbers.

Were there any lights left on since you last drove it?

Charge the battery and see how it goes.
And suck some of these eggs whilst you're waiting.

ETA: Dicky beat me to it! He's so much more nimblerer than wot oi is. rolleyes

Could quite possibly be true, I can't remember when we used it over Christmas and the fact that the doors were unlocked leads me to believe a door wasn't shut properly thus meaning the interior light would have been on and the doors wouldn't have locked!!!

How very dare you!!!!! eek
nono It was a lot, not a few!!!
But the boot wasn't shut properly so I'm guessing the boot light was on for some time, still connected the jump leads and she fired right up, took her for a 20minute drive and left her running for another 25 minutes, let's see if she'll start in the morning!!!!

the issue of no bin men having been round our street has thickened. it seems one resident has gotten pissed off and decided tip their entire bin full of rubbish out onto the road (not middle, edge of the road).

Dense of Trivton here. Did it take three assailants to get a big policeman to the ground or three policemen to get the big assailant of one of them to the ground?

I was stood well away from the stramash ,ready to assist possibly if the perp got loose, then 2 more cop cars arrived and 3 blokes took perp down, then 4th car turned up with 3 in it.
No other pedestrians about ,so felt I should hang around.
