Sounds like ours in reverse!!! The one I'm responsible for is rubbish our neighbours is concrete posts and gravel boards and vertical shiplap!!!
Still some good news today as I spoke to the landlord and he's refunding all monies I spend on the fencing, also very grateful I'm willing to do the repairs myself!!

Yes 2manycars collection is magnificent and that 250 Lusso is gorgeous, I'm not a fan of modern Ferraris but the classic stuff is sublime!!!

Hi, it's only meeeee...

I'm back!
I've been babysitting Robbopoppetlet and Big George since midday, until son-in-Law got home from work this evening. My daughter has resumed work after her maternity leave had ended.

We have had a really fun day, they are both such lovely kids, it's a pleasure to be with them.
I have never known such a happy contented baby as George, he is a little big Chucklemonster! 9 months old and built like a sumo!
He is also very strong!

Robbopoppetlet is just so enthusiastic to learn anything and everything, she soaks it all up like a sponge. She is also very thoughtful, kind and considerate.
This afternoon we were playing animal dominoes while George had a nap, and she insisted on counting the number of pictures on the tiles after each go.
She amazed me by correctly counting up to 46 at one point. Not bad for 3 and a half years old!
I wish I was that clever!

We prepared and cooked the evening dinner together, she knew where all the ingredients and utensils were kept, which was a big help, saved me lots of cupboard searching, and this meant her Daddy didn't have to cook after a long day at work.

I shall now make myself a nice mug of hot chocolate before I go to bed.

I thought Peri would have achieved his next posting milestone while I've been absent from the Lounge, but no! Perhaps the odometer has jammed?

Got aircon installed four months ago. First time it’s been on today (to test it) as it’s not hot enough yet (32c).

In other news wife is preggers again (miscarriage last time ) so we are happy but nervous.
