Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life (Vol 31)
Discussion
Morning all. :wavey
Cold, wet and very blustery here oop norf.
It's not far off 32° here...
Fahrenheit.
I wish they would turn off those bloody wind turbines for a bit.
It's starting to get rather tiresome, blowing a gale all the time!
Great news Bongtom!
I hope all goes well this time, and I wish you both good luck and all the best.

Dicky, "Who are you?"
Sinister Voice, "I am the new Number 2."
Dicky, "Who is Number 1?"
Sinister Voice, "YOU, are the Responsible Adult for the Day."
Dicky, "What do you want?"
Sinister Voice, "Calm, Order, Reason and Tolerance."
Dicky, "You won't get it!"
Sinister Voice, "By hook or by crook we're optimistic."

What were we supposed to do? All because we made a mistake between that look and THAT look.
it was only a tiny little mistake and they got all un necessary, Battert needed a strong cup of tea after that one

Still, the endless pilgrimages of relatives looking for answers add considerably to the local economy.
True, and let's be honest here, the roses do bloom well since they "disappeared"!!ION I have to leave early today to take delivery of and install a washing machine for MIL, she has a dishwasher which rarely gets used, some time ago I suggested switching it for a washing machine to make life a bit simpler, she has a cleaner who does her washing but she's going through issues of her own, we've had a few calls over the last month saying that MIL's washing isn't getting done regularly so we've taken the decision to swap the machines over, so I'm off there to sort it today!!

Panicking.
Stuck panicking.
Phew. That was close.
I forgot to take my glasses off when I pulled my shirt on.
Yes, all right, it's 9.25. I'm a bit behind today. It's allowed.
But, but, but you're the responsible adult today!!! You can't be stuck panicking because you can't get your shirt on!!!! Stuck.

He still has my full confidence.
By the way, top flailing there, Dicky!
And yes, I well remember that day.
What could have turned into an ugly situation was luckily no more than a complete débacle.
And Battert's quick thinking and use of the Fordson to construct the new ancient burial mound was a brilliant way of covering up what happened.
I'm glad we all agreed not to mention it again.
Pint of Absinthe, anyone?
