I've got the thing to go to on Sunday in Slough.

I've also got another F1 GP to avoid watching.

I still need to book that ticket for stuff later ,although that's gone tits out and I will now downgrade to a simple entrance ticket

without grandstand seating.

And then I'm going to finally cancel my Motorsport news subscription.

Despite my best efforts to wear myself out doing gardening and car cleaning and the like I'm still not sleeping well, woke up three times last night, not for long but enough for it to be interrupted sleep!! frown

How many "things" are you going to this year then Peri?

Is our roving reporter glenrobbo off for another ramble today?

Will Dicky deliver another ailing car today?

Will fatboy finally fix the Viper?

Will Nij overrule Mrs P5B and buy a wafty Roller?

Will Bomma finally admit he's actually using the Gatlin gun and not his Remy for clay pigeon shooting?

Will Pushfit make an appearance today?

Will Dibble?

Is Cooped off skiing again?

So many unanswered questions.........

Can't help with too many of the questions I'm afraid old boy, I can confirm that I'm still using the Remy for dispatching the clays however.

It's a good bit lighter and more portable than the old Gatlin, They both have their uses though.

Last time out I managed 29 out of 30, not a bad result for an old sod like me. Probably used about 120 cartridges though, it's easy to get a bit carried away when the bugger's on automatic. 'Bloody Looney' I think the verdict was. Never mind.

Anyhow, Grandbomma has a holiday coming up, we may well head off to Hunstanton for a few days. We'll need to get properly tooled up for the occasion.

Watch this space.

Excellent, starting young Grandbomma in the ways of "tooling up right" at such a young age, she'll pick it up in no time!! yes

What to do today? Have a haircut or dress up like Boy George?

Decisions, decisions.

Or both?

Top shooting from our consultant armaments specialist there. clap

Nothing stops those pesky clay pigeons more effectively.than an impenetrable wall of lead hurled randomly into the sky. .
Shock & Awe!

Talking of which, I have recently received a lovely Parking Charge Notice demanding £100 of my pension, but which they will gracefully discount to a mere £60 if I pay within the next two days.
How kind! The tts!

My dreadful transgression took place in the car park of the pub where we hold our Manchester TVRCC monthly meetings.
Strangely enough, all members who attended in their cars on that evening of the 12th inst. have also received similar missives demanding money with menaces* because apparently somebody ( a member of the pub staff ) forgot to enter our registration numbers onto the system. rolleyes

It's these little things that make modern life such a delight...

Yeah, you tell em' glenrobbo, they can shove their fine where the sun don't shine!!!
That is unless they send Big Mike round with his slightly aggressive demeanour and nasty habit of punching first and asking questions much later!!!

Eventually I tired of carrying around a 10 Euro note in my wallet. It must have been in there since I went to Le Mas in 2014. I know! I'll put it in the random stuff drawer. I'll put it at the back of these things here. Yes. Ah. Along with the four dollar bills I'd forgotten about.

There must be an odd money domestic location impulse thing at work somewhere in my brain. I've been to the USA once; in 1993.

The time to worry is when you have random international money which you have no idea where it came from!!

I've got quite a few Swiss francs which I may as well hang on to.
The way things are going, it may well be a smart decision. smile

I'll give it a go, but the last time I washed it bits fell off, which rather upset Battert, my beer tasted funny for a while after that!!

I have a mate called Frank, who isn't Swiss. He is, however, most definitely a mad Scotsmen of the highest calibre, a veteran of the Anglo-Argie argie-bargie of April - June '82, he counted himself out and luckily counted himself back in. He shhhpeaks jushhht like Sean Connery too!

Not a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow or Bentley T1 in sight on the drive this morning, but I'm working on it... hehe

In other news. I'm only any good for 5 hours of plastering now. I've had enough of it.
