yikes How very dare you!!!!
nono Absinthe is a gift from the gods, a veritable l'or de nectar!!!

Unless it's that Albanian stuff in which case it can be used as both a paint stripper and rust treatment!!

The drive from Devon back to civilisation has affected me very badly today.

I looked at the picture and the words thay formed in my head were Lancia Stratos.

Some people drive professionally. Like a career type thing. How badly are they affected?

Lancia connection.....I found out recently that the last Delta Integrale Evos were assembled in the factory that became

the Barchetta factory.

I already knew that the factory used by Maggiora to make the FIATs was ex Lancia but didn't know which era were built there.

Useless Trivial fact, a lad I worked with in the early 90's had a Lancia Beta, it was the first one I'd ever seen, a lovely looking thing and great fun for blatting around in, when it was working, which wasn't that often!!!

A colleague bought a Beta 1600 coupe ,to replace a Capri 3.0 GXL he stuffed into a lamppost .

The front wings were held on by luck rather than weld and metal but he bought it anyway.

I just looked at FIAT forum ,a chap has just mentioned a new FIAT museum in the old Mirafiori building in Turin.

On it like a tramp on discarded chips.

It's only 6KMs from the national motor museum in the city.

Peri there's a big doo for the coupes 25th Birthday in Turin in June.
I won't be going as I don't have a road legal one but a good group from FCCUK are going.

A very well orginised show by our Italien cousins.

The Absinthe on offer this week would cure anything.
Don't drink it,just sniff the pungent fumes ,from 3 feet away.
You'll be right as rain in no time.

Aha, that would explain why Battert was serving them with a fan in each one, I didn't realise it was to fan the fumes towards you I just thought he was going through one of his "It's a cocktail sir, would you like an umbrella?" Phases!!!

Have you tried Battert's "Duckery" cocktail?

I thought he said "Dacquiri", but no, it's definitely made from blended duck.
You can see feathers and bits of beak in it. yuck
And it comes with quite a big bill too. rolleyes
