It's getting tense at chez Bobbers, Mrs Bobbers is making a hard fought comeback winning Bananagrams 2-1 and then Sequence 3-1, we're currently fighting playing Uno, which I'm currently losing at!!

Well I say, it's jolly quiet in here tonight!! I can't hear any music so I know Trivstock hasn't started early, the Sunderland's still moored so you haven't all gone away for Easter and that hole Haggis dug isn't big enough for all if you to hide in!!!!

I fell out of a hammock in my son's garden and smashed my back on a tree root. I am presently in agony.

Much of the ensuing hilarity seemed to revolve around the fact that I didn't spill my beer.

Yes, you have to admire a man who can hold his beer.

Life is all about priorities.

ION, I ate the saved kebab from a couple of nights ago, well, two thirds of it so far. I just nuked up the “metal for 30 seconds or so, scraped off a bit of the garden and garlic mayo and had it on a couple of toasted pitta breads. There’s enough left for one more hit, which I’m very tempted by. I might just bung the original flat bread thing in the microwave, along with the meat. I know the remaining salad won’t be better for it, but “meh”.

IOON, we (me and The Idiot) also got a second, unexpected visit from Lovely GF this afternoon as well while she was out and about, so all in all, it’s been a good day. I’m also 2/3 of the way through the Netflix PBS documentary about prohibition in the USA. It’s a decent enough watch, I’ve learned quite a bit from it. Most PBS stuff is pretty good.

IOOON, elsewhere, I’ve seen quite a tidy looking Honda S2000 for sale online, at just under £8k. I’m tempted, but I’ve already got a car, but no motorbike, so I may well pass on the Honda (V-Tec just kicked in yo, etc).

No bother with that old boy, I'm having a good peck at the remains of the lamb we had for lunch. Bloody lovely it was yum

Had a bit of a situation earlier this afternoon, we were all sat out in the garden and got 'buzzed' by one of those bloody drone things. Had a good poke around, then went and had a proper look through the window of Grandbomma's bedroom.

It was no match for the old Remy though. One cartridge, job done. It was a 'White Gold 12g' if anyone's interested. Sodding thing grumpy

Well that's a jolly good result, Mrs Bobbers has only just woken me up, a proper good night's sleep!!!
Not as good as an unscheduled lovely GF visit though Dibble, and I'm seriously impressed with your ability to still consider a three day old kebab as edible, Mrs Bobbers would have thrown it out after 24hrs!!!

Seems like you may have a surfeit of chocolate Easter eggs Dicky, we only bought one for each other and mine's already gone!! paperbag

It was a bit chocolatey here yesterday. Grandma and grandad received token amounts that could be comfortably contained in a small gift bag each. The chocolate for children and grandchildren covered most of the floor of the lounge. Now try to imagine my irritation when I discovered that person or persons unknown had decided they needed my bag of Mini Eggs as well. I wrote a post for the Annoys You Beyond Reason thread but didn't post it. I suspect I wouldn't have emerged well from the experience.

Well we've been out and had a lovely pub lunch, we've packaged up the last of the stuff we sold on eBay and now I'm going to settle down in front of the last two rounds of V8 Supercars with nice cup of coffee and a couple of chocolate chip cookies!!!
