I think a set of Bofors AA cannon and an endless flypast of ice cream thieving seagulls should suffice, Dibble. Better see Bomma, I'm sure he can sort out something suitable from the arsenal, even.if he is a Spurs supporter.

That's such harsh news young fella, But we all.have to deal with big birthdays every so often.
You'll find that you won't mind so much as you get older.

Bad news about your leg frame as well...
Commiserations. You must be growing attached to it by now.

Hhhmmm let me see now scratchchin
I seem to remember there's the old GIMPY still on it's jerryrigged stand, then there's that batch of Moldovan rocket propelled grenades, and I think the mini gun is operational if we can just find a way of mounting it, then there's Bomma's assortment of Remy's and finally my selection of shiny slashy stabby things!!! Will that suffice to keep sir amused??? As for a "range" we normally just use the landing strip in between flights!!! thumbup

What do you think about a blindfold? The gaggle of lads from Trivley who were apprehended trying to make off with Battert's retirement stash of brass fittings, copper pipe, electric motors and car batteries are currently hanging upside down in the small barn. Are you familiar with piñata? We'd like them to see the error of their ways and also to stop complaining about their inversion.

Isn't it way too late to re-create that scene from "The Long Good Friday"?

No???

Oh well, carry on then. But make sure you wipe down the baseball bat afterwards.

Well, we could drag this out of the hangar for a bit of light relief:

Failing that, it's going to have to be this bugger:

I went on board one, on the ground, at Lakenheath. Absolutely staggering.

Is that the one with the design flaw? No room for the crew IIRC.

Where can I get a round one for my TVR dash? smile

Is it a bit big?

You could put it in the middle a la Morris Minor speedo.

Along with those really annoying "Rate your recent Amazon purchase" with a 1-5 star rating which when you press the required star takes you to a whole new page of questions about your purchase!!!

It's as if I've not been away here at wemakeplanebits.com, still machines without enough work while others are drowning, still no clear leadership and still no sign of things changing!! Oh well, as I tell Mrs Bobbers, "Just lay back and think of the money!!" smile

Wow! That's perfect, Dicky, and it's just the right size on my mobile phone.

I'll install it in place of the fuel gauge, that never tells the truth anyway.

Thanks very much. I wish I was as clever as wot you is. bow

You'll notice I got it slightly off centre. Research indicated this was the correct procedure for TVR build quality traditions to help make it look authentic.

Bermondsey, I have no idea why but I like the name, I don't think I've ever been there and am unlikely to ever go.

Unlikely to ever go there? Why? It's hip and happening. Right up your street, Bobbers.

Google "Right up your street" instead.

In the very early 80s I went to a party in Southwark in a recently purchased apartment in an old river front warehouse. The owner paid £10,000. It was pretty much an empty first floor warehouse. They sold it a year later for £100,000. Oh to have that amount of faith in your own decision making abilities.

Southwark is also not near you, Bobbers. It's nearer to Bermondsey.
