The Prince Philip crash thread is hilarious .
Someone said,was it a Panda ?
I corrected with Uno.
Some now think a FIAT Uno crashed into his royalness.

Probably the same FIAT Uno spotted in a ParisIan Underpass.

On BBC TV News it was reported to be a KIA with two women in it.

On ITV News they had a lengthy 15 minutes of pointless repetitive speculation about the whys and wherefores of a minor bump at a junction on a rural A-road in which nobody was seriously hurt. rolleyes
Surely there were more important national issues to report?

As for Brexit, I like the sound of the "Norwegian Style Deal" which comprises a continuing trade and customs alliance with the EU but leaving the dictates of EU Parliamentary politics and reclaiming our sovereignty.
This is a choice we should have had in the infamous referendum two years ago.

Maybe it has a big sunroof.

It's easy with a new hip!

Fair play to him, he's pretty relentless for his age!

Good morning, and welcome to stupid o'clock on a Friday!!!

Yes I too was pretty impressed with Prince Philip climbing out of an on it's side Range Rover!!!
And I agree the Norwegian style deal would have been a perfect solution, however we have a bunch of self serving tossers running our country!!!!

As a consequence of Facebook being largely untroubled by Dicky activity I receive few Friend Requests. Imagine my surprise today to receive a request from a divorced cat lover in Omaha. She looks pleasant enough but doesn't claim any interest in cars or trivia. It just wouldn't work as a relationship.

Perhaps Facebook's algorithms are designed to deliberately confuse cars and cats.

Algorithm: "Cat. Car. Yeah, that's close enough."

Maybe she's looking for someone who does have an interest in cars so that they'll come and fix hers??? Or maybe she saw a picture of you Dicky and was overcome with a sudden desire to add you to her collection of stuffed heads??? OR maybe she's really just a very nice lady looking for that someone special?!?! OR maybe it's actually a Nigerian hacker looking for a way in!!!! OR maybe Faceache really is that rubbish!!!!

Said goodbye to the wee Jap spec 1275 Mini today, there's now a nice empty space in the garage which needs filling...

Note to Dicky C - wire wheels were standard on early Marcos GTs, the more common mag alloys were an option at £20 a corner in those days wink
Thanks for that, Nij. I'll have the truck back now if you're done with it.

I remember waiting to cross the road at secondary school and a Marcos drove slowly by. Being a bit of a car geek already I knew what it was but couldn't for the life of me work out why the owner had added Ford sidewinder stripes to the car. Sidewinders tended to repeat the make not brag about the engine. This was about 1967 so I now wonder if the chap was pretending to drive a GT40. We'll never know.

Cosmics on the Mini?

Spotted! Yes that's me wavey I took my Viper rear diff to Hauser Racing in Northampton, I had given up with Hardy Engineering in Leatherhead, they had my diff for over a month and had not even bothered to look at it rage So I picked it up in the morning and drove to northampton, then returned home via Luton and ASDA biggrin

It doesn't really work for me:
I'm struggling to visualise a car o' nine tails... scratchchin

Perhaps it's something to do with your frequent Internet searches for "pussy"?

confused Why would she love divorced cats anyway? That's just weird.*

This is one reason I don't do Facebook.
The other reason is, it won't let me on my own page.
I think I must have accidentally unfriended myself. rolleyes

That's a lot of Marcii!

Pretty cars, but I bet the front end gets a bit light at high speed.
Needs a bloody great spoiler.

Trying to think of the name of Jem Marsh's associate in the Marcos setup?
Would it be Frank Costain? Or Lou Costello? Or was he backed by Costco?
