Our window cleaner, Simone, is Not a Mafioso.
He knows that I am a lost cause.
He says that from next month there will regrettably be a 10% increase in his charge.
Do you think I should bow to this sort of extortion?
Or risk waking up with a horse's head in my bed? yikes

Nightmare decision! _
With a Sardinian you’d be facing being force fed a healty dose of maggot cheese, so be happy he’s from that friendly family Island south of the boot.

After setting my chickens loose and feeding them every morning, they stare at me. I don’t understand what they want.

Try tending to them wearing normal clothes. We understand why you wear the cockerel outfit - and it does look good - but filling their heads with wanton thoughts achieves little.

Not having much luck with my foreign travels.

Last week bag stolen at the airport. This weekend I've been in Stockholm for a wedding. Unfortunately appear to have come down with a rather nasty gastroenteritis. Wife and I went to the Vas museum on Friday and had to leave early. Almost st myself on the way back to the hotel (inconvenient). Spent the rest of the day and yesterday (wedding day) in the hotel room in close proximity to the toilet. Feel marginally better today but still not good. Might try and eat something.

Physician seal thyself?

Sorry g3org3y, I don't mean to be cruel, you sound rather upset. frown

But look on the bright side: At least you didn't st yourself during the ceremony.
That would have been awful!

Is it a case of Stockholm Syndrome?

That's it all stacked.

I then went to help my neighbor stack his as his wife has a back injury.

It's a nice feeling once it's all neatly stacked.

Top work, magoo! bow

And all nice and dry, too.

That's a fair sized woodpile for the money. Great value smile

That's an amazing pile you have there magoo, and huge respect for doing it twice by helping your neighbour!!! I reckon you'll be aching yourself after shifting that lot!!!

Nerfherder has chickens!!!! How many? Do they have names? Are they layers or broilers, or a mixture? And really, dressed as a cockrell just stood there staring at them are you surprised that they're confused?!?!?

Now I've got this sudden hankering for a cockerel outfit.
With a big red comb and scaley feet and a hoooge plumed tail. cloud9

Yer know, to drive the chicks wild!

But do you just stand there, or do you do the whole strutting up and down, clawing the earth, clucking loudly and crowing at the top of your lungs??? If it's the former then they're looking at you in pity thinking "there's no way I'm mating with that wet weekend!!!" yes
Great post in the "New teaspoon" thread by the way!!! smile

Thankyou for bringing it to our attention, Bobbers.

I think I may have nipped that attempted insurrection in the bud before any harm was done...

Luckily I do have meds to help. Feeling better today. Managed some breakfast. Hoping thing's will be relatively stable for Monday's return flight!
