If someone clearly deserves to be bh-slapped in to next week and everyone around thinks it's deserved - Should I do it?

To be fair, the person in question would probably return in kind. And then hide my body - I think they would know exactly how to and where to hide the body given their easy access to chemicals.

bh slapping called off...

It's a fair question and one you appear to have answered for yourself!!
A friend from back in the day used to say "Violence is never the answer, often necessary, but never the answer!!!"
I take it the person in question is a work colleague? They're often the most deserving of a good shoeing!!!

Couldn't possibly comment on such a thing - They do work for my organisation, but they have done nothing but obstruct an investigation that I have taken on that isn't something I should have anything to do with at all, but I have some diplomacy skills that have been used and thoroughly tested of late...

Excellent David Bailey style work there chaps, much appreciated.

This just in from the Trivtonshire Railway Archive(tm), I've had a tidy up in the garage (minor shuffling about to redistribute some dust more like) and dug out my old BR leather driver's kit bag to see if it's still usable, I might start using it again, the dear old thing has probably done more miles than the wee purple Cooper S, it smells a bit musty though...

Nij, I notice your thing dangling from your bag... wink
I have a couple of those loco keys somewhere. Handy things to have if I miss the last bus home. wink

I see your driver's kit bag and raise you this:

Oh yeah! bowtiecool

"Free home delivery":
Handy if you're thinking of relocating your stately pile.
I've got dozens of those loco keys knocking about the house and garage, it's been a while since I've had to use one though as the Class 66s I drive all have their own individual key, usually a heavy brass affair but some have been replaced with slightly smaller plastic ones which occasionally find their way into your pocket and you don't realise it's there until you get home... paperbag. Last time I used the old style key was the last time I drove a Class 60 (built by Brush in Loughborough) about twelve years ago when I worked for a different company. I've still got the first one I was given somewhere, a hand made brass one given to me by the shed foreman at Old Oak Common when I was a mere railway pup.

My stately piles are giving me a spot of grief at the moment, but if I sprinkle some tiffin on them it might make them bearable!

Diplomacy..............hhhmmmmm I may have missed that seminar!!!! smile

I love the fact that you need a "key" to drive a train!!!

The key unlocks the moving parts within the driving desk or console, it's a failsafe, thank gawd! On the locos that I drive inserting the key also activates the electronics in that cab, we frequently have to change ends though so pulling the key out de-activates all the gubbins wink.

I'm currently trying to draw a map of all the routes I work on, I've started with a blank sheet of A4 but I might need some A3 or even A2!

I've noticed a distinct lack of fever about our impending leap from volume 31 to the brand new, shiny, still in it's wrapper volume 32, has Dicky, our lord protector and god of all things trivial, even prepared a new volume?? Will we have to unpack it and assemble it ourselves??? Has anyone bothered to check if we can all fit in the currently functioning vehicles for the perilous crossing????

The key is the thread anniversary on the 30th July.

I am sure Dicky is away now preparing the new volume, and setting out the landing lights to ensure everyone has a safe arrival.

I can switch off the lights here when you have all gone weeping

We'll have none of that selfless sacrifice stuff here thank you very much!!!
It will be a completely, efficiently, organized project planned to the nth degree and carried out with military precision!!!

Or more likely it'll be a madcap scramble with everyone running around in opposite directions!!!!

I came home today with the intention of cleaning at least one of the cars, then I went out the back door to start getting ready for that, moved some of the plant containers out of the way and got a bit distracted, so I ended up "gardening" instead for an hour, oh well car cleaning another day I suppose!!!!!

I have been out in the garage putting the motorbike back together and I too got distracted.
I spent far too much time “servicing” one of my jacks (the jack was wheeled out into the sun and I needed a beer whilst evaluating how best to tackle the service).

It's clouding over and getting "dark" here, I think it's either going to persist down or we may even get a good storm!!!

I have heard a report that there is someone out in the fields just outside Trivton. They have been seen laying a series of lights in a long row

I wonder if this is related to the urgent application made to Trivton council for an extension to the town WiFi system to cover those fields?

Have tried calling Dicky but he is out of WiFi range. scratchchin
