Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life (Vol 31)
Discussion
Is there a Pericoloso in the house?
The guvnor of a little garage I do a bit of work for - Inthesticks Motors - is on Facebook contemplating what to do with a 72 Mk3 Cortina. He seems out of his depth. I suspect he wouldn't want to sell it on the open market in case his business is lumbered with a numbskull demanding a warranty. He needs to sell it to someone who won't come back.

I could send it to you hidden inside a copy of the Dirty Vicar's Book of Tits and Bums, if that's OK?
I've got the Archdeacon over at the hangar at the mo. Not Amused, he's threatening all sorts of litigation.Should I send him up to the Main House? Is the Major around?

Major Domo? We gave him the weekend off to go to Aberystwyth for the international topless sausage eating semi-finals. I said he should at least wear a cardigan but he wouldn't hear of it.
Hellfire, is that this weekend? I had it in my diary as next, I had planned to go. I thought Mrs Greenfield could have prepared a nice batch of Cumberlands for the event.Bomma220 said:

Oh for Heaven's sake, tell him to keep his cassock on! Should I send him up to the Main House? Is the Major around?
He obviously hasn't received his copy yet. Probably been hijacked by the choirboys again.
Tell him I'll send him another copy out tomorrow. Anything for a quiet life.
In the meantime, he can have a look at the verger's.
Right, I'm off out now before the day is over.
See y'all later!
In between taking stuff to the tip, i was perusing various threads on another site i visit infrequently and one of them was a vitriolic rant about Muslims and all the bad things they've done to nice, polite, humble Christians.
I've had my first lifetime ban from a website for suggesting that the Crusades were in fact, a barbaric military action against people who had done nothing to deserve it.
Oh my god, they were mad!!

You must be rather good at this slopes, now go onto the Mini Cooper Register forum and tell them you've bought a Cooper S log book off ebay and intend to fully restore it to concourse condition... go on, be brave, I dare you...!!! You wouldn't believe the sheer vitriol a chap unloaded towards me at the Stanford Hall show a few years ago for daring to repaint my S purple, instead of its factory blue and white combo!

I quite enjoy it now and then

One of my cheapest and most fun ways of stress relief is reminding blown2cv what a cretinous waste of space he is!!!
Operation "Finallymowthesoddinglawn" has been declared a huge success, mainly because we did indeed mow the lawn, and strimmed the edges, and weeded the pots, and Mrs Bobbers planted some strawberry plants, and we moved the stuff on the patio around and swept the sideway and patio!!!!

I had a nice bracing ramble which took me about 4.5 miles over Werneth Low, with its views over the surrounds of Manchester and the Pennines, the Woodhead & Snake Passes
This was my halfway objective where I had a breather and a bit of time to reflect.
God bless 'em all.
It was a bit breezy and my eyes were watering a bit.
