Anyone into trainers/sneakers? (Vol. 2)

Just ordered these which don't really fit my description of plain blue or grey but I like them. If they feel like they're worth the money they do a nice pair of navy leather ones as well.

The wife wore her NASA x VANS for the first time today. They started off as super comfortable and then turned into, I cannot walk anymore and now have blisters!! She's peeled the USA flag off the heel as she doesn't believe in patriotism.

I have a pair of Axel Arigato Clean 90s. They are possibly the most uncomfortable trainers i've ever owned and in no way worth the price tag.

If I need a pair for ‘smart’ I usually rock these with a pair of dark or black jeans and a jacket. I’m not into the high end stuff, people expect this of me in my friendship groups anyway

To be fair the Filling Pieces trainers I bought are actually pretty nice they're just not my style and I'm not convinced the AA ones are either. Just thought I'd give it one last try.

I'd ordered a couple of new pairs of casual boots today anyway so will probably just stick to that and my usual style of trainers when out with my mates.

I'm 47 so probably too old to be rocking up to a date in trainers anyway But one wdate I've been out with a couple of times did like the Overkill's so she might be a keeper

The eeriest time I remember was as a kid, I’d spent the night over at my mates house. Early Sunday morning I get the overland train back the 3/4 stops between our houses. On getting out the station, all I heard was silence and a line of police spaced out all down the Finchley Road. Normally busy 6 lanes across, the rozzer wouldn’t let me cross over to my dads house. The IRA had set off a massive bomb and blown everyone’s windows out. Evacuation!
